Guest Column: I’m Also a Victim of Zionist Aggression and Islamophobia. Where Are My Encampments?

In 2024, I watched and cheered as American students risked their lives to stand on the right side of history. They skipped meals, slept in tents, and boycotted exams. In the course of this honorable struggle, they transformed the manicured lawns of America’s finest universities into moral battlegrounds, the epicenter of a globalized intifada.

New York University has taken down the page for a class taught by New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani’s (D.) housing czar, Cea Weaver, after Weaver’s anti-white social media posts and communist views resurfaced this month. An NYU professor who has worked with Weaver told the Washington Free Beacon the school deleted Weaver’s information to protect her from “harassment.”

Man arrested for driving U-Haul into Iran protesters in Los Angeles was released on $0 bail

The man who was arrested for ramming protesters against the Islamic regime in Los Angeles was given a $0 bail and was released on his own recognizance.
Iranian dissidents have organized one of the largest political demonstrations against the ruling regime and have been met with brutal state violence in response. Hundreds have been killed in the clashes, with some estimates reaching over 1,000 dead.
‘The demonstrators tore the signs off the truck and attacked the driver, who then drove toward a group of LAPD officers.’
Supporters of the dissidents have protested in cities across the globe, but one group in Westwood was violently attacked by a man driving a U-Haul truck.
Video showed protesters attacking the man as police dragged him away from the scene. He was later identified as 48-year-old Calor Madanescht. Only minor injuries were reported from the incident.
The truck had signs on it indicating that Madanescht was opposed to the demonstration. One side read, “No Shah,” which refers to the ruling leader before the Islamic regime overthrew the Western-backed Shah.
However, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is trying to determine whether he intentionally rammed the protesters or was reacting to being boxed in by the protest.
He was only charged with a misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
“Officers stopped the truck and directed the driver to turn around,” reads a statement from the Los Angeles Police Dept. on Monday. “The demonstrators tore the signs off the truck and attacked the driver, who then drove toward a group of LAPD officers.”
Investigators said nothing significant was found inside the truck after it was impounded and searched.
Madanescht was booked into the Los Angeles County Jail but was released on $0 bail. The Los Angeles City Attorney will review the case.

Iranian and Middle East studies professor Ciruce Movahedi-Lankarani at USC told KABC-TV the man appeared to be opposed to both the Islamic regime as well as the previous Shah.
He went on to say that the regime’s actions to cloud reporting on the demonstrations had made it difficult to ascertain how many people had been killed.
“It’s difficult to know the scale and the size because the communications have been cut off, and that’s by design, right?” Movahedi-Lankarani said. “The government doesn’t want the news to be easily spread about what is happening there.”
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump issued a statement of support for the anti-regime protesters and said that help was on the way.

‘Outraged’ Mamdani demands release of Venezuelan working for NY City Council — but DHS says he’s a ‘criminal illegal alien’

Socialist Democrat Mayor Zohran Mamdani called for the immediate release of an illegal alien who was detained by federal immigration officials while he was trying to complete a routine immigration appointment.
Fifty-three-year-old Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorquez is originally from Venezuela but was working as a data analyst at New York City Hall before he was detained.
‘This is an assault on our democracy, on our city, and our values. I am calling for his immediate release and will continue to monitor the situation.’
“I am outraged to hear a New York City Council employee was detained in Nassau County by federal immigration officials at a routine immigration appointment,” the mayor wrote on social media Tuesday.
“This is an assault on our democracy, on our city, and our values,” he added. “I am calling for his immediate release and will continue to monitor the situation.”
Bohorquez is being held at a detention center in Manhattan.
In a statement at a media briefing, New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin said Bohorquez had been detained despite “doing everything right.”
“DHS confirmed that this employee had gone in for a routine court appointment and was nevertheless detained. They provided no other basis for his detainment,” Menin said. “On the contrary, he was a City Council employee who is doing everything right. He went to the court when he was asked.”
She went on to say the man was a victim of “egregious government overreach.”
Authorities claim that Bohorquez had a previous arrest for assault, according to WABC-TV, and Department of Homeland Security said he did not have work authorization to stay in the U.S.
New York City Council contradicted the claims from DHS.
“Contrary to claims by DHS, the City Council employee provided documentation showing he was authorized to remain and work in the country,” they said to Newsweek. “He fully cleared all background checks. Any suggestion to the contrary is false.”

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said that he had entered “on a B2 tourist visa in 2017 that required him to depart the U.S. by October 22, 2017” and called him a “criminal illegal alien.”
“He had no legal right to be in the United States,” she added.

Glenn Beck: Banning corporate home ownership isn’t freedom — but neither is a rigged housing market

When President Trump announced his plan to ban large institutions from buying up American houses, Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck was initially thrilled.
“A conversation is happening in our country right now about housing, about corporations being able to buy homes and whether they should be allowed to do that at all. And my first instinct is no, because the pain this is causing — and the pain is real,” Glenn says.
“Young families are locked out. Rent’s rising faster than wages, communities hollowed out, and you have governments all around the world who are pushing for ‘you will own nothing and you’ll like it.’ Meaning, somebody owns everything. You’re just a constant renter. You’re a serf,” he continues.
However, “every libertarian bone” of Glenn’s reacted to the news that Trump is toying with passing a law addressing this with a resounding “no.”
“Banning ownership is not freedom. It’s just not. … Once you decide who can own property, you’ve crossed a line that history tells us is not easily crossed back in the other direction,” Glenn says.
“But here’s a part that we have to be honest with ourselves about, because pretending otherwise is honestly how we lose the country,” he continues. “What is happening in our country right now is not a free market. You can look at it that way, if you squint really, really hard and lie to yourself every day.”
“We’ve built something entirely different from the free market,” he says, pointing out that in a real free market, “risk matters.”
“In a real market, price signals mean something. … If you make a bad bet, you lose. But that’s not what’s happening. At least not at the corporate level. Okay? That’s not happening in housing. Housing has been transformed into a financial instrument,” he continues.
“It’s not about a house for a family. It’s about a financial instrument. And this isn’t by accident; this is policy. It comes from years of zero interest rates, trillions of cheap dollars, government-backed mortgages, pipelines that are all securitized, regulatory advantages that favor the size or the lawyers and the leverage that you don’t have access to,” he explains.
“Our federal government didn’t just invite Wall Street into housing. It pulled it by the collar and said, ‘You are doing these things because it’s good for our re-election, and I’ll protect you if there’s a problem.’ That’s not a free market,” he says.
This is why Glenn believes the answer is not to outright ban corporations from buying housing, but to address the real issues that have created this situation.
“The problem is not corporate ownership,” Glenn continues. “The problem is privileged ownership. The problem is when government quietly rigs the game.”

‘What a clown’: Amid claims that state trooper hit anti-ICE protester with cruiser in middle of road, cops bring the receipts

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Tuesday that social media posts have alleged that one of its troopers hit an individual on a Memphis street with a cruiser. But the THP said the claims are “false.”
“Have a look for yourself,” the agency said amid its release of a dashcam video of the incident.
‘My God, this just keeps getting even more ridiculous.’
The clip — time-stamped Sunday just after 5 p.m. — shows a male dressed in an orange vest and carrying what appears to be a walkie-talkie exiting an SUV parked sideways on a street and approaching the oncoming state trooper’s vehicle as anti-ICE protesters mingle in the background.
The male raises his arms and blocks the trooper from advancing on the road — as if he were permitted to do so.

What’s more, he wags his finger “no” as if he’s giving the trooper an order — all while the trooper’s cruiser appears to be flashing its lights.
The trooper, as you would expect, is livid and hollers at the male from inside the cruiser: “Move! Get outta my way! Get outta my way! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Move! Get out! Come here!”
But the male not only fails to obey the trooper’s commands, he actually holds on to the front of the cruiser and drops the rest of his body down.

Then he pops back up, wags his finger again, and walks back to the SUV.

The THP in response wrote, “We respect and protect the right of people to protest peacefully. That right, however, does not include entering active roadways or placing themselves in danger.”
The agency added, “In this case, video clearly shows the individual holding onto the front of the trooper’s vehicle, lying down, then standing right back up afterward and leaving the scene under his own power. At no point does the video show the individual being run over or injured, despite the narratives circulating on social media.”
The incident occurred during an “ICE Out for Good” protest by Indivisible Memphis, WSMV-TV reported, following the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis last week.
Blaze News reached out to the THP and inquired if the male who blocked the road has been identified. The license plate on the SUV appears to be from Tennessee, and the plate number is clearly visible in the video. However, the THP on Tuesday didn’t immediately respond to Blaze News’ inquiry.
But commenters under the THP’s Facebook post have been letting their views be known loud and clear; as of Tuesday afternoon, about 1,300 — and counting — comments have rolled in. The following are a few of them.
- “Why is beetle juice in the middle of the road?” one commenter asked. “What a clown!”
- “Imagine thinking you have the authority to tell a cop to stop driving,” another user noted.
- “Make batons great again,” another commenter quipped.
- “Why wasn’t he arrested?” another user inquired. “Nobody should have the right to try and get in front of a police officer to cause disruption or stop their vehicle or put their hands on their car. The more these fools find out [there] are real consequences, they may slow down the instigating and getting in officer[s’] faces. That’s not peaceful protest at that point.”
- “Protest all you want, but once you start blocking traffic, that’s when the problem starts with the police,” another commenter said, adding that “some are looking for their 10 minutes of fame … is it worth it???”
- “My God, this just keeps getting even more ridiculous,” another user observed. “Get out of the road; you can still protest, [but] stop getting in the way of traffic! There could be a medical emergency that somebody is trying to tend to, and you are delaying care which could cost somebody’s life! Stop acting like children! STAY ON THE SIDEWALK!!!”

‘A true American original’: Trump, Vance, Musk, and others pay tribute to the late Scott Adams amid leftist attacks

Following the heartbreaking news of Scott Adams’ death on Tuesday, the leftist media wasted no time before slinging mud at the ardent conservative cartoonist and author. However many conservative political figures and commentators came to the “Dilbert” creator’s defense just as quickly.
President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, for instance, came to Adams’ defense, praised his work, and thanked him for standing up for conservative values, even when it wasn’t easy.
‘Instead he chose courage and died surrounded by the love of tens of millions.’
Trump posted a photo of Adams and himself in the Oval Office. He wrote, “Sadly, the Great Influencer, Scott Adams, has passed away. He was a fantastic guy, who liked and respected me when it wasn’t fashionable to do so. He bravely fought a long battle against a terrible disease. My condolences go out to his family, and all of his many friends and listeners. He will be truly missed. God bless you Scott!”
Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire delivered a poignant message to Adams’ detractors.
“To have monsters celebrate your death is not a bad thing. In fact it is a tribute. But to die and have no one either mourn or celebrate, to die and be forgotten, to have left no impact of any kind on the world, to have your existence add up to nothing in the end — that is the greatest horror. And it’s the fate of basically every leftist who gloated over Charlie, and gloats now over Scott. Gloat all you want, you pathetic nothings. We will not return the favor when you die, because we won’t know or care.”

Vance paid his respects to Adams on social media: “Scott Adams was a true American original, and a great ally to the President of the United States and the entire administration. My prayers go to Scott and all of you who loved him.”
“We lost one of the good ones but we’ll never forget him,” Vance added.
“Rest in glorious peace, @ScottAdamsSays — you changed more lives and made the world infinitely better. God bless you and thank you for everything you did for me. We will always love you,” Fox News comedian and host Greg Gutfeld said.
Mike Cernovich chimed in, “Scott Adams could have kept his mouth shut in 2015, kept those lavish corporate speaking gigs where he’d earn 50-100K per talk, and have died with an extra zero or two in his bank account. Instead he chose courage and died surrounded by the love of tens of millions.”
Quote-tweeting Adams’ final message, Elon Musk commented, “Even though I knew his death was coming, as he told us it would, I still can’t believe he has died. Rest in peace, good and great man, rest in peace.”
Adams’ X account posted a two-page “Final Message” mid-morning Tuesday. The statement offers a reflection on his life and work and, significantly, shined a light on his apparent last-minute conversion to Christianity.
“I’m not a believer, but I have to admit the risk-reward calculation for doing so looks attractive. So, here I go,” the statement reads in part. “I accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, and I look forward to spending an eternity with him. The part about me not being a believer should be quickly resolved if I wake up in heaven. I won’t need any more convincing than that. And I hope I am still qualified for entry.”
Adams died after a prolonged battle with metastatic prostate cancer. He announced his diagnosis last May and suggested in early January that his days were numbered following serious complications, including lower-body paralysis.
