3 reasons Renee Good’s death won’t spark a civil war

On January 8, following the death of Renee Nicole Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE officer after she struck him with her vehicle, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) strongly hinted that civil war was in the cards.
“When things looked really bleak, it was Minnesota’s 1st that held that line for the nation on that July 3, 1863, and I think now we may be in that moment, that the nation’s looking to us to hold the line on democracy, to hold the line on decency, to hold the line on accountability, and more than that, to rise up as neighbors and simply say, ‘We can look out for one another,’” he said during a press conference addressing Good’s death.
His statement came just one day after Walz announced that he’d placed the Minnesota National Guard on a “warning order” amid tensions over federal immigration enforcement, protests, and Good’s shooting.
Many conservative media figures and Republicans have denounced Walz’s rhetoric as dangerous and inflammatory, arguing that he is intentionally stoking insurrection in hopes that a civil war will ignite.
But BlazeTV host John Doyle says that’s “not going to be the case.” On this episode of “The John Doyle Show,” Doyle explains why Good’s death isn’t going to be the catalyst that sparks civil war.
Reason #1: Good is white.
“You’re not exactly going to get people to come out onto the streets to more or less protest the death of a white woman — whether that is because, you know, they do not align with her racially or because they are, like, white liberals who do not view that to be as much of a tragedy,” Doyle says.
Reason #2: Normal people will continue doing normal people things.
“Not only are we going to enforce the law, normal people are just going to kind of allow us to do it, and it’s going to be really cool,” Doyle says.
“I like going on social media and seeing, like, my normie friends going about their lives, posting their Instagram stories, and I like seeing that because I know for a fact that all, like, the theater kids, all the leftists are seeing the normal conduct of people, and they’re seething about it. They’re angry because normal people just aren’t freaking waking up. And that makes me quite happy.”
Reason #3: It’s all theater.
“You had CNN running segments on this supposed uprising with experts warning of widespread civil unrest. Politicians, of course, were getting in on this, like Tim Walz alluding again to using the Minnesota National Guard to #resist deportations. He’s since cucked on this because that’s all it is, right? It’s intoxicating rhetoric,” laughs Doyle.
“It is trying to give the appearance of doing something when they’re going to have to completely surrender to the Trump administration and to the federal government. … They are trying to give gibs to their activist base.”
“[Democrats] wanted it to sound like the prelude to something actually big, this like real event and this real energy that could be absorbed by some kind of political machine so that they could finally freaking stand up and resist and we could have our civil war. … Except that is simply not going to happen because all these people do is complain and cry and bark,” Doyle says.
“They rarely bite. When they bite, it’s because they have control of the federal government,” he continues. And right now, they don’t.

Shots fired at Tim Pool’s studio — is no podcaster safe from radical rage?

On Friday, December 5, podcaster Tim Pool reported that an unknown vehicle approached his recording studio in remote West Virginia and fired several shots into the complex.
According to his testimony, which has yet to be confirmed by law enforcement, no one was injured, and the security team handled the situation.
John Doyle, BlazeTV host of “The John Doyle Show,” was deeply disturbed when he heard this news. If Pool, who is “one of these disaffected Occupy Wall Street liberals who saw that the left went too far,” is being targeted, what does that mean for actual conservatives?
Although he still identifies as center-left, Pool mostly interviews people who have been branded right-wing figures. But just having open conversations has put a giant red target on his back. Friday wasn’t even the first time Pool has been the victim of political targeting. In fact, he relocated his studio back in 2022 after a series of swatting incidents as well as doxxing and death threats made recording unsafe.
The raw truth, says Doyle, is that the people targeting Tim Pool don’t care that he’s a moderate; they don’t care that he’s just engaging in dialogue. The fact that he deviates from their radical left-wing agenda justifies violence in their eyes. Far right, center right, center left — it all needs to be exterminated.
Even so, many continue to argue that discourse is the answer and that “eventually, we can sort of talk our way out of this whole situation and cooler heads can prevail.”
“I, unfortunately, am not so optimistic these days,” says Doyle.
“I have a very sort of, like, Boomer-vindicated position, which is that I don’t think that the ‘innocent Democrat’ is even something that we can conceive,” says Doyle.
He acknowledges that “unity is very popular,” but “calling for unity is something you do when there’s sort of, like, an equal playing field.”
But “you actually can’t call for unity if you’re the one who’s on the back foot, if you are the one with little to no representation, if you are the one who’s being attacked and killed,” Doyle counters.
While he’s not calling for more division, he is urging accountability — not for the moderates, even though they’re enablers — but for the people who spawn and spread these radical ideologies that say it’s okay to celebrate assassinations and attack people like Tim Pool.
“Those are the people I’m talking about. I want no unity with those people.”

New X post from Zohran Mamdani has even conservatives nodding in approval, but are they duped?

On November 29 — Small Business Saturday — New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani slapped a new caption on a five-month-old campaign video pledging to boost NYC’s small-business ecosystem with massive deregulation measures, leading some conservatives to applaud the socialist as more based than they originally thought.
In the clip, Mamdani vows to “make it faster, easier, and cheaper for small businesses to get started and stay open” by cutting fines and fees by 50%, expediting permits and applications, appointing a “Mom and Pop czar” to fight bureaucracy, and increasing funding for small business programs by 500%.
This kind of red-tape-slashing, deregulatory rhetoric is something you would normally hear from Republicans or maybe an old-school Democrat, but to hear it from a self-described socialist is truly an anomaly.
Or is it?
John Doyle, BlazeTV host of “The John Doyle Show,” says these conservatives praising Mamdani’s small-business plan have had the wool pulled over their eyes. Mamdani doesn’t care about small business; “he is simply rewarding his foreign base.”
For starters, the massive increase in small-business funding, Doyle reminds, is simply “redistribution of wealth from the whiter neighborhoods.”
“I’m quoting Mamdani, who wanted to raise taxes specifically on the whiter neighborhoods … to pay for these handouts,” he says.
But the more important issue is who these small-business perks are intended to benefit. It’s not native New Yorkers; it’s the foreigners who “elected him to office,” says Doyle.
In response to the people who foolishly think that Mamdani’s small-business plan reveals he’s maybe not the stark raving mad Marxist we thought he was, Doyle tweeted the following:
Because NYC’s business marketplace is one of the most saturated and competitive in the nation, “who is moving to New York and starting businesses?” Doyle asks. “It’s obviously foreigners.”
Deregulation for Mamdani, he argues, isn’t about helping businesses; it’s about lowering the standards — “cleanliness standards, worker hygiene standards, temperature control, food safety standards, inspections, record-keeping” — to turn NYC into the kind of third-world slum his voter base came from.
“That is what is going on here,” he declares.
“You have to be 200 IQ enough to understand that in this instance, deregulation is actually Marxist in nature.”

John Doyle’s Trump year-one victory lap: Border sealed, millions self-deporting, DEI dead, J6 pardons, Gaza peace & beyond

Donald Trump hasn’t even reached the end of his first year back in office, and John Doyle, Blaze Media’s newest TV host, says that already his “most optimistic expectations have been exceeded.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing what the administration does with its subsequent three years. However, it’s also undeniable that the first year of Trump’s second term has more Ws in it than, like, literally any year in his first term,” he says.
On this episode of “The John Doyle Show,” Doyle recaps the MAGA king’s biggest accomplishments.
Immigration crackdown
“Immigration is the most important issue,” considering that “under Joe Biden’s administration, literally tens of millions of illegals just waltzed right into the country,” Doyle says.
Immediately after his inauguration, President Trump turned off the spigot by declaring a national emergency at the southern border, directing 10,000+ military personnel to stop the influx. On the same day, he signed multiple executive orders to secure borders, end “catch and release,” and block most asylum entries at the southern border.
In the months that followed, he reinstated and expanded Remain in Mexico, signed the Laken Riley Act mandating detention for migrant criminals, dramatically ramped up ICE arrests and deportations (hundreds of thousands removed, with over a million self-deporting), and achieved the lowest illegal border crossings in decades — plummeting over 90% from prior peaks and delivering the most secure border in modern history.
Because of these efforts, Doyle says, “border crossings do not even exist anymore; they are a fable.”
He acknowledges, however, that what’s needed next is the “mass deportations” we were promised. “They must remove themselves or be removed from the balance sheet peacefully, very legally … and there’s no way around that fact.”
Bye-bye DEI
President Trump has “racked up pretty substantial wins when it comes to anti-white racism,” Doyle says. Previous administrations “spent trillions of dollars” building a “civil rights regime” that ironically “wound up just being this entity to discriminate against specifically white people as a matter of policy.”
In just months, President Trump has dismantled the federal DEI machine built over decades by Democrats. He eliminated all DEI programs, offices, positions, and preferences across the federal government; revoked longstanding affirmative action requirements for federal contractors; and directed agencies to combat illegal DEI practices in the private sector to restore merit-based opportunity and enforce colorblind civil rights laws.
“And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. … He signed an executive order banning anti-white indoctrination in K-12 schools; he signed an executive order in April to crack down on disparate impact in the federal government,” Doyle says.
On top of that, “the Trump administration also launched a major investigation into the entire University of California system for race- and sex-based hiring quotas,” Doyle continues. “It opened investigations into 45 universities, including Ivy League schools, over illegal racial preferences in student fellowships, academic programs, admissions practices.”
“The list goes on and on,” he adds.
Honorable mentions
Doyle praises Trump for issuing “a sweeping pardon” of January 6 protesters, “[directing] multiple federal agencies to investigate Antifa,” and “[adding] a $100,000 fee to the H-1B visa.”
He also convinced Israel “to accept a much earlier peace deal in Gaza than it would have liked to do. … He managed to avoid freaking war with Iran, freaking World War III, like everybody thought was going to happen,” Doyle says.
“The progress this administration has made has been remarkable, and we still have three years left to go.”
