‘I’m not suicidal’: Rep. Burchett says US would fall apart if we heard truth about UFOs

A congressman could neither confirm nor deny shocking claims made about hybrid alien species and a string of mysterious deaths.
During a recent interview, Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) urged President Trump to disclose government secrets that he said would rock the nation, saying that what he has seen would keep people up at night.
‘This country would have come unglued, I think, if they would have heard all that I heard.’
Burchett spoke with Newsmax host Rob Finnerty about recent stories and claims made about UFOs and alien disclosure. Perhaps most shockingly, Finnerty highlighted claims made by former Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), who recently said he was once briefed by U.S. Army personnel about the locations of “hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication.”
Gaetz told host Benny Johnson about “enforced breeding programs” between aliens and humans who had been abducted from war zones or migrant caravans.
When Finnerty asked Burchett for his response, he replied, “I’m still a member of Congress, so I can’t really comment too much on what Matt said.”
Burchett insisted he was being serious and added that if the government “would release the things that I’ve seen, you would stay up. You’d be up at night worrying about or thinking about this stuff.”
The congressman gave an example.
“I was briefed … on an issue two weeks ago, and it would have set the earth on — this country would have come unglued, I think, if they would have heard all that I heard, they would demand answers. And we need to.”
Burchett then told the host there was an active cover-up happening in the highest ranks.

All the allegedly shocking information that would have Americans up in arms is continuously being hidden from public view, Burchett claimed.
“Unfortunately, it just keeps getting covered up and covered up. And the people that know are dying or disappearing, as the case may be,” he went on.
To that end, Finnerty cited a recent story connecting six dead or missing personnel linked to “secret U.S. aerospace work,” all of which are stories from the past year.
For example, retired General William Neil McCasland allegedly “disappeared suddenly from his home” but left his phone, glasses, and watch, Finnerty said. He reportedly worked at an Air Force base that allegedly held debris from the Roswell, New Mexico, crash from the 1940s.
Monica Jacinto Reza is an aerospace engineer who vanished while hiking in the Angeles National Forest in June 2025.
In response to the stories, Burchett said, “I just know there are no coincidences in this town.”
“These folks have disappeared or died mysteriously, and the only thing that ties them together is the fact that they worked on things that are dealing with outer space, whether it’s UFOs or nuclear secrets or missiles or what have you,” he added.
Chillingly, Burchett also felt the need to tell the host, “For the record, I’m not suicidal, and I don’t take risks.”

The 61-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee, said he has been pushing for disclosure from the federal government, but he and his colleagues are often stymied by “arrogant” bureaucrats.
“When I’m in a meeting, in a closed-door meeting, and I asked about the president’s points on these, and then I’m told by some arrogant, unelected bureaucrat that the president is on a need-to-know basis, I think that says everything that needs to be said about what’s going on.”
Burchett described the typical bureaucrat as “some little punk with a man bun” who is “sort of running the show,” while decorated military officers are silenced.
The officers, Burchett explained, “are basically unallowed to say anything, and you can read their faces.”
The congressman remained steadfast in that he did not believe the recent deaths were coincidences and furthermore that he thinks President Trump is indeed the president who wants to provide disclosure on aliens.
Burchett said the president simply needs to be informed of what questions to ask and to be told the locations of certain “items.”

‘Pure insanity’: Alabama news anchor under fire for quoting Islamic terrorist during sign-off

An Alabama news anchor drew fierce backlash after she quoted the founder of a designated terrorist organization during her on-air sign-off.
During a Thursday evening broadcast on Birmingham’s ABC 33/40, WBMA-LD, Ashonti Ford, 38, told viewers, “Before we go, a quote from the founder of the Islamic Brotherhood: ‘The quieter you become, the more you’re able to hear.'”
‘The intent of our closing segment is always to end the newscast on a positive and thoughtful note.’
Ford was quoting the late Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) reacted to the on-air moment, writing in a post on X, “Pure insanity. The Radical Muslim Brotherhood is a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.”
One X user responded, “Who made the decision to use the quote? That clown has to go!”
“She needs to be terminated!!” another individual wrote in response to Ford’s comments.

In January, the State and Treasury Departments designated Muslim Brotherhood branches as Specially Designated Global Terrorist groups.
Jeff Cox, a news director for ABC 33/40, which Sinclair Broadcast Group operates, apologized for the quotation on Monday, AL.com reported.
“The intent of our closing segment is always to end the newscast on a positive and thoughtful note,” Cox said. “The quote included that evening was not intended to convey any political or ideological message.”
“However, we understand it was perceived that way and on behalf of the station, I sincerely apologize to those who were offended,” Cox added.
He asserted that Ford had no role in selecting the quote and stated that the matter was addressed internally.
“Although this quote was read by Ashonti Ford, Ashonti had nothing to do with the selection,” Cox continued. “We have addressed the matter internally, and we are making adjustments to ensure our content consistently meets our editorial standards moving forward.”

A Sinclair spokesperson told Fox News Digital, “ABC 33/40 is reinforcing its editorial review protocols to ensure content aligns with the station’s standards.”
“ABC 33/40 has an established editorial process for reviewing content. In this case, that process fell short, and the station has taken steps to strengthen it moving forward,” the spokesperson continued. “The station’s on-air talent was not involved in the selection of the quote. This was an editorial matter, which has been addressed through our internal processes.”
Ford was not disciplined and remains on air, according to Fox News Digital.

Trump announces plan to pay DHS workers amid ongoing Democrat shutdown

President Donald Trump has announced plans to issue paychecks to Department of Homeland Security employees amid the ongoing partial shutdown, which has left Transportation Security Administration officers working without pay for weeks and jammed up airport security lines nationwide.
TSA agents’ last full paycheck was on Feb. 14. Nearly 500 workers have quit since the shutdown started, and the callout rate reached 11.83% as of March 26, CNN reported.
‘Defund-the-police Democrats have kept @DHSgov closed in an attempt to slow down ICE’s efforts to remove murderers, rapists.’
Trump previously directed the DHS to work with the Office of Management and Budget “to use funds that have a reasonable and logical nexus to TSA operations to provide TSA employees with the compensation and benefits that would have accrued to them if not for the Democrat-led DHS shutdown, consistent with applicable law.”
As a result of Trump’s directive, on March 30, many TSA workers received at least part of their overdue pay after missing two full paychecks.
On Thursday, Trump announced additional steps to ensure all DHS employees receive their wages.
“Republicans are UNIFIED, and moving forward on a plan that will reload funding for our FANTASTIC Border Patrol and Immigration Enforcement Officers,” Trump wrote in a post on social media.

Trump criticized Democrats for being “fully and 100% committed to the Radical Left Policy of Open Borders and Zero Immigration Enforcement” that has allowed unvetted “Murderers and Criminals of all types” into the United States. He added that he hopes their actions will “cost them dearly in the Midterms!”
The president stated that he would take executive action to address the ongoing issue.
“I will soon sign an order to pay ALL of the incredible employees at the Department of Homeland Security,” Trump wrote. “Their families have suffered far too long at the hands of the Extreme Liberal ‘Leaders,’ Cryin’ Chuck Schumer and Hakeem ‘High Tax’ Jeffries.”
Trump declared that “help is on the way for our Brave and Patriotic Public Servants who have continued to work hard, and do their part to protect and defend our Country.”

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin thanked the president for his latest announcement.
“For over a month, the defund-the-police Democrats have kept @DHSgov closed in an attempt to slow down ICE’s efforts to remove murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, and terrorists from our country and open our borders. Time and time again the Democrats have prioritized violent illegal aliens over American citizens,” Mullin wrote.

Illegal alien ‘sicko’ accused of possessing 50+ child porn images — ICE urges county to honor detainer

Immigration and Customs Enforcement is urging Dallas County to honor a detainer request lodged against an illegal alien accused of possessing child pornography, according to a press release exclusively obtained by Blaze News.
Orvin Bayardo Fuentes Borjas, 24, was arrested by the Irving Police Department and booked into the Dallas County jail system on March 6 after he was charged with possession of child pornography — over 50 visual depictions, a first-degree felony.
‘Every single day, ICE is working to remove criminal illegal aliens like this sicko arrested for possession of 50 child pornography images.’
Fuentes Borjas’ bond was set at $100,000.
The Irving Journal, a local news outlet, reported that a tip about Fuentes Borjas’ alleged online activity led to his arrest.
A press release from the Department of Homeland Security revealed that ICE issued an arrest detainer against Fuentes Borjas. ICE is urging Dallas County not to release the suspect from local custody to allow agents time to transfer him to federal custody.

The DHS described Fuentes Borjas as an illegal alien from Honduras.
“He was booked into Dallas County Jail, where he will remain until ICE takes him into custody,” the agency wrote.
The DHS claimed that the suspect previously failed to show up for his immigration hearing and was issued a final order of removal on February 3, 2020.

“Every single day, ICE is working to remove criminal illegal aliens like this sicko arrested for possession of 50 child pornography images. ICE asked Dallas to not release this pedophile from jail back into Texas communities,” DHS acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said.
Bis stated that under President Donald Trump and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin’s leadership, “ICE law enforcement will not allow criminal illegal aliens to prey on innocent children.”
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office does not participate in ICE’s 287(g) partnership program, according to ICE’s website. However, Texas law requires law enforcement agencies to comply with ICE detainer requests.
“To keep predators like these out of our communities, it is imperative that local law enforcement works with ICE — Irving did its job here, but more must be done to ramp up removals. Municipalities across the board participating in the 287(g) Task Force program would be the surest way to make that a reality,” Irving City Council member Luis Canosa told Blaze News.
The Irving Police Department declined to comment. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office did not respond to a request for comment.

SCOTUS asks pointed questions as fate of Trump’s birthright citizenship order hangs in the balance

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Wednesday in the case challenging President Donald Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship.
Trump made history by being the first sitting president to attend a SCOTUS hearing. He attended for over an hour, departing shortly after the solicitor general, John Sauer, concluded his arguments.
‘Why put it in if it’s irrelevant?’
Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Trump wrote in a post on social media, “We are the only Country in the World STUPID enough to allow ‘Birthright’ Citizenship!”
Sauer previously claimed that lower-court rulings finding Trump’s executive order unconstitutional were overly broad and incorrectly held that “birth on U.S. territory confers citizenship on anyone subject to the regulatory reach of U.S. law.”
During Wednesday’s arguments, Sauer contended that the 14th Amendment phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” requires parents of a child to be domiciled in the U.S. and have allegiance to it.
He explained that the citizenship clause was enacted after the Civil War to grant citizenship to freed slaves and their children whose allegiance to the U.S. “had been established by generations of domicile here.”

“It did not grant citizenship to the children of temporary visitors or illegal aliens who have no such allegiance. This conclusion reflects the original public meaning of the clause,” he stated.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts called Sauer’s argument “very quirky.”
“Well, starting with that theory, you obviously put a lot of weight on ‘subject to the jurisdiction thereof,'” Roberts stated. “But the examples you give to support that strike me as very quirky.”
“Children of ambassadors, children of enemies during a hostile invasion, children on warships,” Roberts continued. “And then you expand it to a whole class of, illegal aliens are here in the country. I’m not quite sure how you can get to that big group from such tiny and sort of idiosyncratic examples.”
Sauer argued that birthright citizenship has generated “a sprawling industry of birth tourism,” adding that “uncounted thousands of foreigners from potentially hostile nations have flocked to give birth in the United States.”
American Civil Liberties Union legal director Cecillia Wang argued before SCOTUS against Trump’s executive order.
Wang was pressed about U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark, an 1898 Supreme Court case in which the court ruled that a child born in the U.S. to Chinese citizen parents was an American citizen. While the ruling set the precedent for anyone born in the U.S., Ark’s parents were both legally domiciled in the U.S.
“Thirty years after ratification, this court held that the 14th Amendment embodies the English common law rule,” Wang stated during Wednesday’s hearing. “Virtually everyone born on U.S. soil is subject to its jurisdiction and is a citizen.”
“The majority tells us six times in the opinion that domicile is irrelevant under common law,” Wang added.

Justice Samuel Alito pushed back on Wang’s arguments, stating that he “might agree” with her “if ‘domicile’ had simply been sprinkled in the opinion,” though it appeared 20 times.
“Why put it in if it’s irrelevant?” Alito asked Wang.
“The first is that, again, it was a stipulated fact,” Wang responded. “The second is that regardless of what the judgment in the case was … the rule of decision in Wong Kim Ark has binding precedential effect. Even if you think that Wong Kim Ark decided the case based on the stipulated facts, you have to follow that controlling rule of decision. And if you follow that rule, you get to the same result.”
Justice Elena Kagan appeared to share Alito’s concern, stating, “What are those 20 ‘domicile’ words doing there? You can take some of them and say, ‘I don’t know; they were just summarizing the facts of the case,’ but not all of them.”

NATO ambassador says Trump ‘reevaluating’ US involvement in alliance
The U.S. ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) indicated President Trump is “reevaluating” the country’s membership in the international military alliance on Wednesday. “I think that it’s very clear right now that President Trump is evaluating and reevaluating everything,” Matt Whitaker told Newsmax. “Whether that is our involvement with NATO, whether that is…

Live updates: Trump-appointed justices seem unswayed by arguments to end birthright citizenship
Even with President Trump in the courtroom to hear his solicitor general’s arguments on why an executive order ending birthright citizenship should be upheld, the Supreme Court on Wednesday, justices did not appear likely to take his side. The president attended oral arguments for about two hours; he is believed to be the first sitting…
