Sunny Hostin of ‘The View’ claims it costs $400,000 A YEAR for child care — Pat Gray loses it
“The View” is back in the headlines for spewing more ignorant nonsense.
During a discussion reacting to conservative activist Isabel Brown’s comments at CPAC, where she encouraged young women to have more children, Sunny Hostin said it was “reckless” to encourage people to have kids during the current economic climate.
“I think it’s just really reckless to be suggesting that people should have children when you now know in this country there’s this affordability crisis,” Hostin began.
BlazeTV host Pat Gray says just this statement alone is “outrageous.”
“It’s reckless to suggest people have children? Are you kidding me?” he asks in shock. “We’re already below replacement level right now … so do you want America to just disappear eventually?”
But Hostin wasn’t done.
“For a two-person household, a married household, you need over $400,000 for child care — over $400,000. Most people don’t make over $400,000,” she continued, accusing Brown of “advocating for people to be born into poverty, people not being able to feed those children, people not being able to educate those children, and people not being able to house those children at the same time when this government is cutting all of the services that would allow people to have families.”
Co-host Ana Navarro then asked a clarifying question: “$400,000 over the lifetime of the child?”
“No, it’s a year! It’s an annual income exceeding $400,000 to afford child care,” Hostin doubled down.
Pat can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of Hostin’s claim. “It’s not $400,000 a year to have a baby!” he howls.
“They are so butt stupid. It’s embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for them, and I can’t stand them.”
Pat is shocked that “The View” wasn’t forced to address Hostin’s fallacious numbers. “Is that something that the lawyer or somebody could fact-check somewhere along the lines so they come back and correct that garbage?” he asks.
But thus far, no such correction has been made.
Pat wonders how the audience of “The View” is stomaching Hostin’s lie about childrearing — “How many of their viewers have children and understand the fact that it’s not $400,000 a year to clothe them, feed them, house them?” he asks.
“They have to,” says Jeffy, arguing that “anyone with any kind of brain, even a numbskull … knows that it doesn’t take $400,000 a year for a child.”

7 scientists tied to NASA, Los Alamos, and defense research dead or missing — Pat Gray reacts
Conspiracy theories are swirling after several prominent U.S. scientists and defense researchers with ties to classified aerospace, nuclear, and UFO projects died or mysteriously vanished under suspicious circumstances in recent years.
Rumors about cover-ups, assassinations, and even stranger theories are ramping up, and now even mainstream outlets are beginning to take notice.
On a recent episode of “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat, Keith Malinak, and Jeffy watched and reacted to a recent segment from Fox News host Will Cain, who laid out seven of the most striking cases and asked the obvious question: Are these incidents connected, or is this just a tragic coincidence?
Cain presented the following cases of scientists and defense researchers who died or disappeared under suspicious circumstances:
- Carl Grillmair: Caltech astrophysicist who worked on a NASA-supported space telescope project and infrared systems; “shot and killed at his home just two months ago.”
- Frank Maiwald: Senior scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab; “died nearly two years ago, but his cause of death has never been made public.”
- Monica Reza: NASA/JPL-connected aerospace scientist; disappeared while hiking in California last summer.
- William McCasland: Retired Air Force major general who formerly commanded the Air Force Research Lab and oversaw classified aerospace R&D; vanished from his home in February 2026. He had a direct professional connection to Monica Reza through funding her earlier materials research project.
- Melissa Casias: Worked an administrative role at Los Alamos National Lab with security clearances; has been “missing since last summer.”
- Anthony Chavez: Longtime Los Alamos National Laboratory employee; disappeared while out for a walk in May 2025.
- Nuno Loureiro: MIT plasma and fusion physicist; shot and killed in December 2025 at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts, after answering the doorbell.
Cain noted the overlap in their sensitive research ties, pointing out the same handful of institutions — NASA, Air Force Research, Los Alamos Laboratory — and asked: “Could they be connected, or is this something else entirely?”

The return to the moon starts NOW: ‘Exploration is what we do’
This April Fools’ Day wasn’t just for jokes — but rather an incredible show of American ingenuity as astronauts on NASA’s Artemis II mission took flight on the first crewed lunar flyby in more than 50 years.
“Exploration is what we do,” BlazeTV host Pat Gray says on “Pat Gray Unleashed.”
“It’s deeply embedded in us. It unites us with a common goal. It creates a sense of national pride, excitement, focus, and the technology advances that we accomplish in overcoming all the obstacles to get there. That’s a tangible, practical reason for doing this,” Gray continues.
However, Gray also points out that there’s some “nonsense” that will come with the historic launch.
“People always ask, ‘Why don’t we go back there? Why did we stop? ‘Cause we don’t really have the technology,’” Gray mocks. “No, it’s because liberals, the whiny, stinking liberals who hated any kind of advancement by the United States of America, put a stop to it.”
“You like your cell phone? OK, that came from this technology. You like advanced cameras? OK, that came from NASA technology. Wireless communication of all kinds. You like the bed you sleep on, the memory foam probably came from NASA,” he continues.
“Things you don’t even expect like scratch-resistant glass and glasses and sunglasses and computer technology, the laptop,” he says, before calling himself a “NASA apologist.”
“I wish I was on their payroll,” he laughs. “That would be great.”

WATCH: Chaos erupts at Canadian NDP convention over pronouns and ‘equity cards’
The New Democratic Party of Canada recently held a leadership convention in Winnipeg, which took a series of chaotic turns as delegates clashed over pronouns, privilege rules, accessibility issues, and speaking rights.
“That’s the far left. They’ve never had someone attain the level of, say, prime minister. They’ve been around since the ’60s. So they’ve been out there, and they’re just an entertaining lot when they gather to get official business done at the National Democrat Party,” Malinak explains.
And clips from the convention do not disappoint.
The clips reveal the use of “equity cards,” which were handed out to delegates based on identity categories like gender, race, sexuality, and indigenous status. Delegates who had said “equity cards” were allowed to jump the line to ensure equal representation in debates.
As the clips reveal, however, the delegates did not debate on issues like cost of living or crime — but rather why they deserved to be holding one of the equity cards.
“I’m sorry, just real quick point of personal privilege,” one transgender delegate said. “I understand there’s very little time for delegates to speak, but … it’s hard as a racialized and transgender delegate to sometimes use this card and speak to somebody in front of me in line and ask, ‘Hey, this pertains to multiple intersecting parts of my lived experience. I’d like to speak.’”
“I was rejected when I talked, and it’s frustrating when these are my rights being directly under attack right now in Alberta and that a cisgender woman had spoken over me, and I understand her rights are important too, this pertains to her too, but I don’t know,” the transgender “woman” continued.
“I hope that in the future, the federal NDP will also have a broader interpretation of the equity cards for speakers,” he added.
“These people,” Gray comments, “if they were left to their own devices, they’d be dead because they have so many rules and so many things that offend them and so much stuff that you can’t do around them or say to them.”
“That is mental illness on display,” Malinak adds.

Springsteen’s new anti-ICE protest song is so hilariously bad, it makes Bon Jovi’s vaccine hug anthem sound like a masterpiece
Bruce Springsteen recently released a stand-alone protest single titled “Streets of Minneapolis,” which strongly criticizes Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement tactics.
In the song, the washed-up has-been condemns what he dubs “state terror” in Minneapolis, memorializes Renee Good and Alex Pretti (two anti-ICE agitators who were killed by law enforcement), and condemns “King Trump,” Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
On a recent episode of “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat and co-hosts Keith Malinak and Jeffy unload on the Boss’ latest flop.
Pat and the panel can’t help but howl in laughter at the out-of-touch millionaire’s cheap agitprop lyrics:

“He took a Daily Beast story, read it, and put some music underneath it,” laughs Pat.
Jeffy says that the faded celebrity clown has been algorithmically boosted on social media recently. “He’s been making the rounds on my algorithm lately for some of his performances as of late, and he looks terrible,” he giggles, noting that social media comments regularly compare him to “Biden walking around with his shirt unbuttoned.”
Keith quips that Springsteen’s song is so bad it makes “gold” of Bon Jovi’s COVID-era “Do What You Can” track, in which the hair metal sellout sang, “Although I’ll keep my social distance / What this world needs is a hug / Until we find the vaccination / There’s no substitute for love.”
When compared to Springsteen’s woke ditty, “that should be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-worthy,” he mocks.

REVOLTING: Canadian advocacy groups push euthanasia program for CHILDREN
Canada already has one of the world’s most expansive and permissive euthanasia programs. Under current law, adults don’t even need a terminal illness to apply for Medical Assistance in Dying. Chronic illnesses and disabilities are qualifying conditions as long as the patient is of sound mind.
But some advocacy organizations, such as Dying with Dignity Canada, want the law to be expanded to include “mature minors” — youth as young as 12, who they argue can demonstrate full decision-making capacity, with added “safeguards” such as mandatory parental consent for teens 15 and younger. Sixteen- and 17-year-olds, they argue, are mature enough to agree to be euthanized without their parents’ permission.
Canada’s Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying apparently agrees. In February 2023, the committee determined that “eligibility for MAID should not be denied on the basis of age alone.”
While the Canadian government has announced no plans to expand MAID in this way, the issue of “mature minors” will likely resurface in 2027, when Parliament re-evaluates the program’s next major expansion — whether to allow MAID for people whose only medical condition is a mental illness.
When Pat Gray, BlazeTV host of “Pat Gray Unleashed,” heard of Canada’s MAID advocacy for minors, he had no other word for it than “evil.”
“Nothing else explains that,” he sighs. “It’s unbelievable. Canada has just, they’ve gone off a cliff.”
