Illegal aliens were released from county jail despite ICE detainer — and then allegedly shot young mom to death

The Department of Homeland Security says that local California officials ignored a federal immigration detainer request against two illegal aliens who went on to kill a single mom.
Kembery Chirinos-Flores, 24, was found bleeding from gunshot wounds in a car in Sunnyvale on Jan. 7. She was pronounced dead and left behind a 5-year-old son.
‘These illegal aliens should have never been able to commit these horrific killings and must NEVER be released from jail into American communities.’
In March, the Sunnyvale Dept. of Public Safety announced that two illegal aliens were arrested and charged with her murder. They were identified as Franquin Inestroza-Martinez and Gerzon Jose Chirinos-Munguia.
Detectives said they found the shotgun they believe to be the murder weapon.
On Monday, DHS excoriated the Santa Clara County “sanctuary politicians” for releasing both of the suspects while refusing their ICE detainer requests.
“Instead of cooperating with ICE, Santa Clara sanctuary politicians REFUSED to honor ICE’s arrest detainer and will not notify ICE when these murderers are released from jail,” reads a statement from Acting Assistant Sec. Lauren Bis. “This insanity of refusing to turn cold-blooded killers over to ICE must end.”
Inestroza-Martinez illegally entered the U.S. in 2013, was caught, and then was removed, according to DHS. He was originally from Honduras.
In 2018, he was caught illegally entering again and was then removed. He entered illegally into the U.S. a third time, but it’s unknown when that was.
Inestroza-Martinez also had a warrant for his arrest in relation to the homicide of 55-year-old Esteban Vicente Sacalxot in New Jersey in 2025. Sacalxot was also allegedly killed with a shotgun.
Chirinos-Munguia, also from Honduras, was caught illegally entering the U.S. in 2015 and was removed. He entered the U.S. a second time at some unknown date.
In 2018, he was arrested for battery and false imprisonment. Then in 2019, he was arrested in Santa Clara County for domestic battery and threatening crime with the intent of terrorizing.
DHS says he was released despite the detainer requests, and he allegedly went on to kill Kembery Chirinos-Flores, who is the mother of his child.

“A man lost his life, and a child is now without a mother. These illegal aliens should have never been able to commit these horrific killings and must NEVER be released from jail into American communities,” Bis added.
The boy was taken into custody of Child Protective Services after his father was arrested for the murder of his mother.
“DHS law enforcement is protecting American communities every day from another senseless tragedy like this taking place in another town, to another family,” DHS concluded.

After 11-year ‘political persecution’ begun by Kamala Harris, pro-life activist David Daleiden is VICTORIOUS

Failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris is facing another defeat, this time after a decade-long prosecution against a pro-life activist arrested in California.
David Daleiden made national headlines in 2015 when his undercover videos exposed policies at Planned Parenthood that allowed the alleged sale of parts of aborted babies.
‘As promised, the final charge has been DISMISSED and the case completely expunged.’
Harris, who was the attorney general of California at the time, began the investigation against Daleiden that resulted in more than a dozen dubious felony charges accusing him of violating privacy laws.
On Thursday, Daleiden announced that the final charge in his case had been dropped and the case “expunged.”
“As promised, the final charge has been DISMISSED and the case completely expunged — after a couple months’ administrative delay, and a truly bizarre last-minute ‘April Fool’s’ attempt by [Planned Parenthood] and [the National Abortion Federation] to overturn the State’s agreement.”
Daleiden had previously celebrated a deal in which the state dropped charges against him if he agreed to enter a plea of “no contest” that would later be converted to “not guilty” and dismissed.
The office of Democrat Attorney General Rob Bonta did not respond to a request for comment from Blaze News.
“After enduring 9 years of weaponized political prosecution,” Daleiden wrote in Jan. 2025, “putting an end to the lawfare launched by Kamala Harris is a huge victory for my investigative reporting and for the public’s right to know the truth about Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby body parts. Now we all must get to work to protect families and infants from the criminal abortion-industrial complex.”
The activist’s videos led to two companies admitting to illegally selling aborted baby parts from Planned Parenthood abortion centers. The companies agreed to a $7.8 million settlement in 2017 and agreed to shut down operations in California.
A spokesperson for Planned Parenthood denied wrongdoing in 2015 and accused Daleiden of targeting women with his undercover videos.

“The California attorney general filing criminal charges sends a clear message that you cannot target women and you cannot target health care providers without consequences,” said Mary Alice Carter.
Lila Rose of Live Action applauded the development in Daleiden’s case on social media.
“After a decade of California bureaucrats attempting to prosecute, bankrupt and imprison David Daleiden for his courageous and groundbreaking pro-life reporting, they have officially FAILED,” she wrote. “David beat Goliath, and he’s only getting started.”
