
DHSUD: Private developers have until March 2026 to comply with balanced housing law
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has given concerned private developers more time to comply with the Balanced Housing Development Program (BHDP) as mandated by Republic Act 10884. In a statement, DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said private developers of new residential subdivisions and condominium projects were originally given until Dec. 31, 2025 to comply with RA 10884 that required them to provide for socialized housing.
