Turn off the money; they’ll leave: Elon Musk nails the border truth
Elon Musk’s appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” last week should be required listening for anyone who still believes “one citizen, one vote” is the bedrock of our republic. For more than three hours, Musk — engineer, entrepreneur, and agent provocateur — peeled back the curtain on what he called Washington’s longest-running con: a taxpayer-funded pipeline that turns illegal immigrants into future Democrat voters.
Musk didn’t hedge. The ongoing government shutdown, he said, isn’t about continuing resolutions or fiscal cliffs. It’s about Democrats refusing to cut the hundreds of billions in welfare spending that draw migrants across the border. Turn off the cash, and the migrants leave. Cut the flow of migrants, and the left’s imported electorate vanishes.
When the rule of law returns to our borders, it returns to our ballot boxes. That’s a future worth shutting down the swamp to secure.
Joe Rogan was gobsmacked, for good reason. The former head of the Department of Government Efficiency described, in clear terms, what many Americans have long suspected but have been told was a conspiracy theory: The government’s own spending has become a political machine.
The welfare magnet
Musk’s argument is simple. Blue-state welfare programs — Medicaid expansions, housing vouchers, EBT cards, in-state tuition — advertise America as “free everything” for those who cross the border. When Rogan asked what would happen if those benefits stopped, Musk replied, “The Democratic Party will lose a lot of voters.”
Not some — a lot. California’s supermajority didn’t appear by chance, he noted; it was built city by city, sanctuary by sanctuary.
That blueprint is now spreading to Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and other battlegrounds with generous welfare systems. The U.S. Census already rewards high-immigrant states with extra congressional seats and Electoral College votes. Add motor-voter laws, same-day registration, and ballot harvesting, and you don’t need a single illegal ballot to tip the scale. The counting itself does it.
This is arithmetic, not a conspiracy theory. Since 2021, the Department of Homeland Security’s parole programs have admitted more than a million people under “humanitarian” pretexts. Federally funded NGOs meet them at the border, fly or bus them to swing districts, and sign them up for every benefit imaginable.
Musk argued that ending the handouts would prompt a voluntary exodus within weeks — no ICE raids or roundups required. Yet Democrats treat any effort to cut those programs as existential sabotage. Why? Because their own numbers show what happens when the inflow stops: Red states stay red, blue states fade to purple, and the Electoral College map becomes competitive again.
The real shutdown fight
That, Musk said, is why Democrats would rather grind Washington to a halt than surrender their demographic advantage. The “shutdown” isn’t a budget fight — it’s a fight to preserve a political machine.
Enter Donald Trump’s enforcement agenda: the program many voters thought they were getting after the 1986 amnesty deal that never delivered. Mass deportations. Mandatory E-Verify. The end of catch-and-release. A full audit of every federal dollar funneled to “new arrivals.”
Critics reflexively cry “xenophobia,” the same way they called a border wall “immoral.” But this isn’t about left versus right — it’s citizens versus cartels. A union welder in Pennsylvania, a black business owner in Atlanta, and a Latino pastor in Miami all lose when the voting power of citizens is diluted by noncitizens who bypass the legal system their grandparents followed.
Representative government dies when representation is determined by who sneaks across the border first. Real elections require verifiable citizens, not harvestable bodies. Ethical leaders don’t traffic in future ballots; they protect the franchise like nuclear codes.
The fix
The appeal of Trump’s immigration plan is that it’s universal. America First means American tax dollars for American citizens, not for an imported electorate. Require proof of citizenship to register to vote. End chain migration and the visa lottery. Finish the wall. Empower ICE and Customs and Border Protection to do their jobs. The crisis collapses the moment the incentives do.

No more midnight ballot drops in swing districts. No more census manipulation. Just the restoration of an old promise: play by the rules, and the rules will protect you.
A choice bigger than party
This fight transcends party and personality. It’s about whether your grandchild’s vote will still count in 2050. Support strong immigration enforcement. Demand audits of federal spending. Tune out media race-baiting and sentimental excuses. End the programs that siphon taxpayer money into the hands of those who broke the law to get here.

Spotify to continue airing ICE recruitment ads despite Soros-linked complaint
The Trump administration has been actively recruiting new Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to assist in the effort to enforce United States law and remove illegal foreigners from America. However, some organizations have taken issue with the advertising efforts on Spotify to recruit people at this critical time.

MoveOn, a George Soros-affiliated organization, started a petition to specifically pressure Spotify to remove ICE recruitment ads from its platform.
The petition calls the advertisements “offensive government propaganda” that uses “inflammatory and dehumanizing language.”
“And now Spotify and other streaming platforms are letting ICE use the platform that people pay for entertainment and connection as ICE’s recruitment tactic. It’s intrusive, offensive, and disturbing,” the petition reads.

The petition does not call out any other streaming platforms by name.
“This ad is part of a wider campaign from the U.S. government running across multiple platforms, including television, streaming, and online channels,” a Spotify spokesperson told Blaze News
“Users can also help manage their ad experience in-app by liking or disliking an ad or logging into their account via web browser and updating their ad preferences,” the spokesperson added.
The petition fails to mention that the only users affected by the ads are free subscribers. Paid subscribers do not receive advertising, leaving them virtually unaffected by the ads.
On Blaze News’ last count, the petition has 36,914 signatures. The goal is 40,000.
MoveOn and the Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment from Blaze News.

Immigration raid at New Jersey warehouse busts illegal aliens, arresting 22% of workforce
Federal immigration agents executed a raid of a New Jersey container freight warehouse that resulted in the arrest of dozens of illegal aliens, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
‘DHS is committed to maintaining the highest levels of security and accountability within bonded facilities to protect both US commerce and the public.’
Activists arrived on the scene to protest as federal agents conducted the arrests, WCBS-TV reported. They claimed that most of those taken into custody were packers for the international shipping company.
Local reports indicated that DHS agents initiated the workplace inspection at a facility owned by Savino Del Bene, a logistics company headquartered in Italy.
The sweep resulted in the arrests of 46 illegal aliens, approximately 22% of the on-site workforce, a DHS spokesperson told Blaze News.

“The operation is part of DHS’ ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with customs and immigration regulations, safeguard the integrity of the supply chain, and verify that warehouse operators are adhering to all applicable security requirements,” the agency spokesperson said. “DHS is committed to maintaining the highest levels of security and accountability within bonded facilities to protect both U.S. commerce and the public.”

The spokesperson noted that the 46 illegal aliens will remain in DHS custody pending immigration proceedings.

This marks the third raid in Middlesex County in the past few months. Federal agents detained 15 employees from a wine and spirits warehouse in July and another 29 workers from a freight warehouse in August.
Atlantic Highlands Mayor Lori Hohenleitner stated that the town was not notified about the recent immigration enforcement actions.
“My police department had no idea that ICE was in our town at 6:30 in the morning last Sunday,” Hohenleitner stated, referring to the unrelated arrest of Ruperto Vicens Marquez, a longtime restaurant owner. Hohenleitner accused federal agents of wrongfully arresting Marquez, who, according to KABC-TV, has a valid and recently renewed work visa.

Soros-linked protesters to host ‘rally/vigil’ at Home Depot over ICE raids
Progressive groups are organizing more than 100 anti-immigration enforcement protests at Home Depot and detention center locations nationwide this weekend.
‘All over the country, ICE agents are targeting immigrants in and around Home Depot, attacking and terrorizing workers, customers, and surrounding communities.’
The demonstrations are advertised as a “rally/vigil” to honor “all the workers who have been kidnapped by ICE on Home Depot properties.”
Organizers accused Home Depot of “becom[ing] ICE’s passive partner,” claiming that the company “has not resisted or condemned these raids.”
“Tell Home Depot: ICE Out!” the ads read.
The planned demonstrations appear to be in response to the death of Roberto Carlos Montoya Valdez, a 52-year-old from Guatemala. In August, Montoya Valdez was fatally struck by a vehicle when he ran onto a California highway while attempting to flee the scene of a Home Depot, where federal agents were performing immigration enforcement.
The Department of Homeland Security stated that Montoya Valdez was not being pursued by any federal law enforcement agents at the time.

“All over the country, ICE agents are targeting immigrants in and around Home Depot, attacking and terrorizing workers, customers, and surrounding communities. The raids are terrifying, chaotic, and sometimes deadly,” the ad for the protest read.
Organizers are hosting a Día de los Muertos protest outside a Pasadena Home Depot on Saturday, in honor of Montoya Valdez and two other individuals who died in separate incidents tied to Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, according to Pasadena Now. The local outlet noted that the event will feature an altar, music, and speakers.

The protests are a part of the Disappeared in America project, hosted by the Public Citizen Foundation, the National Day Laborers Organizing Network, the Workers Circle, and the Detention Watch Network.
The George Soros’ Open Society Foundations has made nearly two dozen grant donations, totaling over $6 million, to the Public Citizen Foundation since 2016. It has donated $700,000 directly to the Detention Watch Network and another $835,000 to the Tides Center “to support the Detention Watch Network.”
“We aren’t notified that immigration enforcement activities are going to happen, and we aren’t involved in the operations. We’re required to follow all federal and local rules and regulations in every market where we operate,” Home Depot told Blaze News.
Open Society Foundations did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
