Conservatives panic that Trump is caving in Minnesota — but Glenn Beck explains his master strategy

On Monday, January 26, President Trump announced that he had had “very good” and “productive” conversations with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) amid the escalating anti-ICE protests, violence, and backlash over fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
According to statements from all three, their conversations centered on de-escalating tensions from the anti-ICE protests and federal immigration operations in Minnesota, including potential reductions in federal agent numbers, allowing state-led investigations into the recent fatal shootings by agents, cooperation on handing over criminal noncitizens from state custody, reassigning Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino, and assigning border czar Tom Homan to oversee matters on the ground.
Many people on the right interpreted this as the Trump administration caving to leftist protesters. Glenn Beck confesses that that was his initial reaction upon hearing the news.
“When I first saw this story yesterday … I thought, is he waving the white flag? What is he doing? … Is this all about the election and getting re-elected and he’s got to make nicey-nice?” he admits.
But deeper scrutiny led Glenn to believe that it is not surrender but rather “counterinsurgency” that we are witnessing in the Twin Cities.
“We’re seeing Trump shift the battlefield, not abandon it,” he says, explaining that if Trump were legitimately surrendering, he would “end the enforcement nationwide,” “call off ICE operations,” “publicly repudiate Homan or Miller,” “admit wrongdoing,” and “accept the ‘Gestapo snatching people off the streets’ narrative.”
But “none of that happened,” says Glenn.
Instead, Trump “narrowed the enforcement criteria. Political pressure is rerouted, optics cooled, legal authority preserved, responsibility transferred back to the states,” he explains. “This is not a surrender. I believe this is a reframing of the fight, and it’s really smart.”
From the get-go, Trump was clear about ICE’s objective, says Glenn: “Get the really bad criminals off the streets.”
“So the goal was never ICE agents everywhere all the time. The goal was this: Force blue-state leadership to choose publicly and unmistakably between protecting violent criminals or cooperating with federal law enforcement,” he explains.
Minnesota was sliding into irremediable chaos, which would only benefit the radical left, which is aiming to cultivate a “legitimacy crisis,” he says. Escalation is exactly what the insurrectionists wanted Trump to do.
But he smartly didn’t drop the hammer. Instead, he made some moves in order to win the “optics war” — one of them being relocating Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino, whom Glenn calls “a walking headline” and a “symbol” for the left’s anti-ICE movement.
This one move, Glenn says, accomplished a number of things. It weakened the Senate shutdown talks, took the media’s favorite villain out of the story, and moved the fight from “personality back to policy.”
“This is classic Trump,” he says.
“Never die on someone else’s hill if it isn’t the hill you chose. … Only die on the hill you choose,” he adds, quoting Trump’s iconic 1987 book “The Art of the Deal.”
“So when he talks to Walz and Frey, I don’t think this is capitulation. I think these were traps.”

Montana is Minnesota 2.0: Insurance chief exposes NEW Obamacare fraud bust on Glenn Beck

In the wake of Minnesota’s massive fraud scheme busts, some states have started questioning what’s going on within their own borders. In Montana, Commissioner of Insurance and State Auditor James Brown’s curiosity spurred him to do some digging, and what he found made his jaw drop.
On this episode of “The Glenn Beck Program,” Glenn sits down with Brown to expose the massive Obamacare fraud scheme he recently uncovered in Montana.
“It’s bad,” Brown says of the scandal. “This is government at its worst. It’s human nature at its worst.”
Under Obamacare, members of federally recognized Native American tribes can sign up for Marketplace health insurance plans anytime (not just during open enrollment), often with little or no out-of-pocket costs.
“This scheme involved targeting at-risk Native Americans who live on reservations in Montana, fraudulently enrolling them on Obamacare, then physically transporting them across state lines, which is, as you know, human trafficking, and then billing our insurance company for rehab treatments that did not take place or were unnecessary or performed at greatly inflated costs,” Brown explains.
“And then what would happen is these Native Americans who were targeted then were just dumped out on the streets in Arizona and Southern California.”
“Why were they taken across state lines?” Glenn asks.
Brown explains that a lack of “proper oversight” in places like Los Angeles and Phoenix enabled fraudsters to exploit the Affordable Care Act’s strong protections for mental health and addiction treatment. Under those federal parity laws, insurers are required to cover rehab the same as regular medical care — even from out-of-state providers — allowing distant rehab facilities to rake in large sums of money from fake or inflated bills.
Glenn follows up with the obvious: How much money are we talking here?
“Fifty million with an M in fraud committed through this scheme,” says Brown, adding that the good news is this awareness has allowed his office to prevent another “23.3 million” from being stolen.
But money is only half the horror.
“There’s 200 Native Americans that have probably been victimized by this,” says Brown.
However because his jurisdiction is limited to the Montana border, and much of this fraud is taking place outside state lines, he is heavily reliant on the feds for prosecutions.
“Are they actively pursuing this?” Glenn asks.
“The Trump administration has been very helpful on the CMS side, which is the federal agency that administers Obamacare. They’ve been very active in working with us to make sure these fraudulent payments stop,” says Brown. “Not so much luck so far on the criminal prosecution side, but we are working on that.”

Glenn Beck: Trump just put the ENTIRE WORLD on notice in his Davos speech

On Wednesday, January 21, President Trump delivered an address at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, that has the world buzzing. Glenn Beck calls it “the most consequential speech” since Ronald Reagan’s iconic Berlin Wall address.
“He is breaking up the United Nations. He is breaking up the bureaucracy of the WEF. He is putting Europe on notice,” he says.
He was especially impressed when Trump addressed Greenland — specifically when he said, “You can say yes, and we will be very appreciative, or you can say no, and we will remember.”
“I have never heard a president speak to the world like this,” Glenn remarks.
One thing was very clear from Trump’s Davos speech: “The world is changing,” but the U.S. is “carrying a very, very large stick.”
Trump pulled no punches when it came to calling out countries and world leaders. While he expressed love and respect for Europe, he boldly criticized it for importing foreign cultures that are destroying Western civilization.
“Western culture is dying in Europe because you refuse to stand up for it,” Glenn says, summarizing Trump’s words.
“He took on Canada in a way I have never heard before,” he adds, referencing Trump’s pointed rebuke of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
In response to Carney’s speech, delivered the day prior, in which he indirectly accused the United States of strong-arming weaker nations with economic integration, tariffs, and financial tools, Trump fired back, “Canada lives because of the U.S. Remember that, Mark, the next time you make your statements.”
“He didn’t even show [Carney] the deference of being prime minister. It was, ‘Mark, you should watch your words,”’ Glenn recaps. “He is not fooling around, and he is declaring an end to this new world order.”
Carney and other world leaders are pushing for “a new world order where the elites all get together from all over the world, and they make the decisions,” he explains.
But Trump’s speech made it crystal clear where he stands on that idea. Glenn summarizes his response: “That hasn’t worked. More bureaucracy will not fix it. More globalization, more melding of our countries together will not fix this.”
Glenn then pulls in his head writer and researcher, Jason Buttrill, to explain the full context of Trump’s Greenland comments.
Jason says that during Trump’s first term, he pressured NATO allies — including Denmark, which controls Greenland — to allocate more funding to its own defense instead of relying so heavily on the U.S. Trump specifically pushed Denmark to step up security in Greenland, and the Danes agreed, promising to dedicate roughly $224 million to better surveillance, reconnaissance, and Arctic defenses.
However as soon as Trump left office in 2021, Denmark backtracked.
“They only allocated 1% of that entire $224 million,” says Jason. “Most of that money that they set aside for defense went to social programs.”
Trump’s hardline Greenland comments during his speech, he says, are just “Daddy Trump … providing the tough love.”

‘We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory’: Peter Schweizer drops bombshell on Glenn Beck about Mexico’s invisible coup

The intentional implosion of the United States via mass immigration — often called the “Great Replacement” theory — has been “debunked” as a baseless, racist conspiracy theory by left-wing organizations like the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center.
But what Glenn Beck just heard from bestselling author Peter Schweizer is proof that it’s not theory. It’s happening right now — and in places we wouldn’t expect.
Schweizer’s new book, “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon,” is a deep dive into the weaponization of mass migration as a political tool to influence U.S. elections, undermine national security, and reshape demographics and power structures.
While the book presents documented evidence exposing multiple foreign adversaries, including China, Venezuela, Cuba, and the Muslim Brotherhood, for weaponizing immigration for political gain, its revelations about Mexico are among the most disturbing.
“I always thought of Mexico in the context of, OK, you’ve got kind of this hapless government, and it’s corrupt, and they’re kind of glad for mass migration because now they don’t have to feed their own people,” Schweizer says.
But he’s been giving Mexico too much credit.
“The reality is — in their own words — they view immigration very differently,” he tells Glenn.
According to a December 2024 report written by one of President Claudia Sheinbaum’s top aides, Mexico sees mass migration to the U.S. as a means of reconquest.
“We already know that the Mexican population in the United States reaches 39.9 million. We Mexicans are reclaiming our territory,” Schweizer reads directly from the report.
On top of that, another “powerful senator” in Sheinbaum’s progressive, populist Morena Party, who “sits on the National Defense Committee,” is on record saying: “We Mexicans are in our territory — California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming. We’re going to take back the territory that was stolen from us.”
“You hear these quotes, and you think, ‘OK, well maybe this is just bravado,’” Schweizer says. But when you see the “network and infrastructure inside the United States” Mexico has built, it’s clear that it’s far more than bombast.
“This infrastructure — this includes Mexican government officials inside the United States who are organizing violent protests, like those that hit Los Angeles, those that are in Minneapolis, and they are actively participating in our politics,” he explains.
“They are working to elect Democrats … who are sympathetic to them on immigration and working to defeat President Trump through Mexican consulates that are across the United States.”
Glenn is shocked by these revelations and wonders why we’re just now hearing about Mexico’s reconquest plans, especially given the pile of evidence that’s out there.
Schweizer says that Mexico has “masked what they’re doing quite effectively.”
He reads a 2023 quote from the “head of the Mexican News Agency” that captures the intentional covertness of Mexico’s immigration agenda: “We are quietly carrying out the reconquest of our territories in the U.S. taken from us in 1848. The reconquest of the Aztec territory is silent, and the day that the gringos realize this, their diabolical fundamentalism will become macabre.”
“In other words, we need to keep this quiet … because when the ‘gringos,’ as he says, find out, they’re gonna be really, really angry about it,” Schweizer says.
These quotes from powerful Mexican officials, he says, are just a sprinkling of what’s out there. “The Invisible Coup” lays out a wealth of evidence on Mexico’s “Reconquista” and pulls no punches in naming key figures.

Glenn Beck: Iran’s regime is crumbling — and the REAL villain isn’t China

Iran’s streets continue to erupt in one of the most intense nationwide uprisings since the 1979 revolution. Thousands have been killed, tens of thousands arrested, and a brutal regime crackdown with live fire, mass detentions, and a near-total internet blackout has largely smothered visible protests for now. And yet whispers of regime fragility grow louder.
But there’s more to this story than meets the eye. Iran’s real vulnerability, says Glenn Beck, lies not in its inability to squash a protest movement but in its oil-dependent economy, propped up by shadowy deals that could unravel overnight.
Glenn breaks it down brilliantly with a simple, chilling apple farmer analogy that exposes how global banks and China’s “teapot” refineries have kept the regime afloat through sanction-skirting barter schemes … until the buyer suddenly says “no more.”
Glenn’s story begins with an apple farmer named Mo and an apple buyer named Ming.
“[Mo] starts out small. He has a few trees, a few crates. He works hard and everything, and he reinvests all the time. He plants more trees. He buys more land. He takes out loans for trucks and storage and refrigeration,” Glenn begins.
His business keeps growing and then “one day something incredible happens. A massive single grocery chain [run by Ming] picks up Mo’s apples — not a few apples, all of the apples. Which is good because what I didn’t tell you about Mo is he thinks he’s a good guy, but he’s pissed every other apple store off in the world,” he continues.
Ming tells Mo his plans to “refine” the apples into “apple cider and apple juice.” Mo, thrilled that now “demand is guaranteed,” expands even more.
“The trucks are financed. The warehouses are leased. The future looks locked in,” says Glenn.
But then one day, everything comes to a screeching halt. Suddenly “Ming says, ‘Yeah, we can’t take any more apples. We’re at capacity.”’
This news wrecks Mo’s world – without Ming, there’s nothing to keep his business empire afloat.
Almost immediately, apples begin to pile up, and the trucks loaded with supplies are parked. Then “the police are like, ‘Why are all these trucks on the sides of the roads?’ … Then they realize, ‘Wait a minute, you don’t have a license to ship apples. In fact, you don’t have a license on this truck,”’ Glenn continues.
It turns out Mo hasn’t been making any money from his apple farm because Ming has been paying him in equipment and infrastructure the entire time. Mo’s business collapses immediately because he never actually owned anything.
“The banks did,” says Glenn — not because they trusted Mo but because they trusted Ming, who took out the insurance policies.
“Ming is actually the refinery in China, and Mo is the oil in Iran,” he finally reveals.
The banks and insurance companies knew that China couldn’t legally purchase Iranian oil because there’s an embargo on it. But they were perfectly fine with a barter system — where China provided goods, services, and infrastructure in exchange for oil. As long as there was “no money changing hands,” the banks would sign.
This prospect is already enough to give Glenn “a brain aneurysm,” but sadly the story takes an even darker turn.
“The farmer Mo — he has sons, and each one ran a different part of his farm,” he says, returning to his analogy.
Ming’s sudden decision to bail stirs up tension in Mo’s family.
“One son says, ‘Sell the land while it’s worth something.’ Another says, ‘No, hold on — the store might come back.’ Another one says, ‘No, you know what? I’m not with either of you’ and starts moving equipment out of the barn in the middle of the night, and he’s just going to get onto a plane and disappear at some point,” says Glenn.
“This is when countries go down because each son stops asking how do we save the farm, and they start asking how do I get out before it collapses. The farm doesn’t change hands in a ceremony. It just empties out.”
It starts with Mo’s sons, then the farm workers, and then the security team. Protests erupt outside Mo’s gates, and he is forced to cope with the fact that his apple farm has rotted from the inside out.
“This is what’s happening in Iran,” says Glenn.

Clintons defy Epstein subpoenas — but Glenn Beck says DON’T jail them. Here’s his shocking reason why.

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton refused to appear after the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed them for closed-door depositions regarding Jeffrey Epstein and the federal government’s handling of his crimes. The slippery duo even sent letters to Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) in advance of their scheduled dates, calling the subpoenas invalid and nothing more than political retribution.
Now the committee is seeking to hold both Clintons in contempt of Congress, which could result in jail time if they’re found guilty.
Many conservatives are elated at the prospect of seeing Washington’s most scandal-laden couple behind bars, but Glenn Beck says jailing the Clintons for this particular crime would be a huge mistake.
He equates incarcerating the Clintons over contempt of Congress to giving an arsonist a book of matches.
“We now have all of these scandals, all of these NGOs making all kinds of money on your tax dollars, funding the destruction of America as we know it. We’re all in bed with giant corporations and the WEF — the Clinton Foundation is all lined up in it,” he says.
This insidious network is behind all the violent anti-ICE protests, the death-to-America-style riots, and the push for socialism that is destroying the country from the inside. But all the while, these elites have been quietly building an elite-controlled system that will be implemented when the old system has been successfully burned to the ground.
The Clintons, Glenn explains, have their finger on the red button that could set off chaos like we have never seen before and usher in the Great Reset he has been warning about for years. To tempt them to push it — especially at a time when Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) is hinting at civil war — is insane.
It’s not that prosecuting and jailing the Clintons are completely off the table, but to use your ace card on the Epstein case, which Glenn insists will never go anywhere, is stupid.
“Are we going to find out what really happened with Epstein? I don’t think so — ever. Why? Because all of the evidence has been in the hands of the Republicans and the Democrats and the Republicans and the Democrats over and over and over again for years. … [The evidence] has all been destroyed. It’s all gone,” he says.
It’s no secret — even to the Democrats — that the Clintons “are very bad people. … They have spooked everybody because they’re so good at being very bad people. Even the people in the press who used to be for them are now just so scared of them,” Glenn continues.
“You don’t try to kill the king unless you can kill the king. You don’t try to take out the Clintons and wound them, because they’ll kill you. And I don’t mean that literally. Or do I?” he winks.
If you really want to take out the Clinton empire, “you better come prepared with the goods,” and unfortunately, to the utter dismay of all, the Epstein case isn’t the “goods” we were told it was.
Even so, there are plenty of “goods” on the Clintons, says Glenn. “We have it all,” he says, referring to the long list of documented scandals the Clintons have been central in.
While Glenn would “love” to see Bill and Hillary perp-walked for committing the same crime that landed former Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro behind bars, he knows that it would only cause more chaos in America’s streets.
“Remember, they’re the arsonist. You don’t want to hand them matches. And it’s not because they’re above the law, not because they’re untouchable, but because this specific path leads to nowhere good. You don’t have anything on them. And they will use it for all that it is worth,” he warns.

Glenn Beck exposes the REAL motive behind Clintons’ Epstein subpoena rejection

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have refused to honor congressional subpoenas requiring them to testify about Jeffrey Epstein and the federal government’s handling of his crimes.
The former president and secretary of state responded with a sharply worded letter to House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) — also posted publicly on X — dismissing the probe as partisan politics designed to distract from the Trump administration’s failures, including aggressive ICE operations; January 6 pardons; threats to funding and free speech for universities, media companies, and law firms; the dismantling of national security agencies (such as USAID); and the weaponization of the Department of Justice.
“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences. For us, now is that time,” the letter declares.
“Really? Now? … Now, when you’re asked to testify in front of Congress under subpoena about Epstein? That’s the straw that broke the camel’s back?” Glenn Beck retorts, calling the timing of their sudden “fight” for “principles” suspiciously convenient.
Their letter and refusal aren’t about justice or principle at all — they’re about what the Clintons have always prized most: self-preservation.
In the letter, Washington’s most scandal-ridden, slippery duo wrote, “You accepted the least from those who know the most but demand the most from those who know the least. To say that you can’t complete your work without speaking to us is simply bizarre.”
Glenn finds this statement so absurd, it’s almost funny. “Is there anybody that was closer to Epstein than Bill and Hillary Clinton? I mean, maybe not Hillary, but Bill? I mean, he was there all the time,” he claps back. “In the stairway of the Epstein mansion was that weird-ass picture of Bill Clinton in the dress with his legs draped over wearing heels.”
The letter also addressed the potential for contempt of Congress charges. “We expect you will direct your committee to seek to hold us in contempt,” they wrote, denouncing such an act as a partisan move that will only halt Congress.
In 2022, however, Hillary Clinton publicly supported holding both Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro — former Trump advisers — in contempt of Congress for defying the Jan. 6 subpoenas.
But now that the same fate is staring them in the face, the Clintons are suddenly calling it “injustice.”
“You don’t get to suddenly sound like James Madison after you spent four straight years trying to put Donald Trump in prison by any means necessary,” Glenn says, recalling that “it was Hillary Clinton that started the whole Russiagate thing.”
“[The Clintons] did everything — Russian collusion, manufactured intelligence, leaked FISA warrants, media operation masquerading as journalism, all of that stuff,” he continues. “Now, we know that all of this stuff is based on lies, so when I hear warnings about the Justice Department being used as a cudgel, … when I hear lectures about intimidation and subpoena and punishments of enemies, you know, I don’t dismiss them, but I also don’t forget who the people were that normalized it.”
The truth is, everyone who was tied to Epstein in any way — not excluding President Trump — should be questioned, Glenn says.
“Doesn’t mean they all go to jail. Doesn’t mean they all did something. But you should be questioned — all of them,” he says.
“I don’t want show trials. I don’t want immunity for friends or punishment for enemies. … I want equal justice under the law — you know, the kind written in the Constitution and almost never practiced by anybody in power lately.”
But Glenn knows the odds of real justice ever catching up to the Clintons are slim to none.
“They’re above it all,” he acknowledges.

Glenn Beck exposes the REAL reason Tim Walz is fanning civil war flames — and it’s not Trump resistance

After the death of Renee Nicole Good — the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on January 7 after she struck him with her car during a large-scale immigration operation — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), who publicly condemned the shooting as unnecessary, intentionally fanned the flames by issuing a warning order to prepare the National Guard for deployment.
The Constitution, specifically the Supremacy Clause, forbids state military forces from impeding, obstructing, or interfering with federal military or law enforcement officials carrying out federal duties, as federal law and authority are supreme over conflicting state actions.
Walz, says Glenn Beck, undoubtedly knows such a violation of this clause would mean serious consequences, so his words were clearly meant to accomplish a different purpose.
That purpose, he says, is to send a “signal” to “the Democrats’ own revolutionary guard.”
“Those are the people who have been so duped or … hate America because America is the worst place in the world … they’re on a mission to stop the federal government any way they possibly can,” Glenn explains.
In other words, Walz was stoking a “civil war.”
The following day, he went a step farther. At a press conference on January 8, Walz said, “When things looked really bleak, it was Minnesota First that held that line for the nation on that July 3, 1863, and I think now we may be in that moment, that the nation’s looking to us to hold the line on democracy, to hold the line on decency, to hold the line on accountability, and more than that, to rise up as neighbors and simply say, ‘We can look out for one another.”’
“What he’s doing here right now is just, it’s the most selfish thing I’ve ever seen. He is only protecting himself,” says Glenn, predicting that it’s a matter of time before Walz is behind bars for his almost certain complicity in the massive, mostly Somali-perpetrated fraud schemes uncovered in Minnesota.
“The guy is guilty,” he says frankly.
It’s this guilt — not anything related to Renee Good — that is fueling Walz’s recent statements, Glenn says.
“He, first of all, stole your money, gave it to people who were shipping it out of the country. He and his administration enabled and assisted in all of this, then turned a blind eye when everybody realized … something wrong is happening. They did nothing. Why? Because if they did something in the Somali community, it guaranteed that they would not be re-elected,” Glenn says.
“It was all about getting elected.”
Then when the fraud schemes started to catch up with him, prompting the massive influx of ICE officers into Minnesota, followed by protests and obstructions and eventually Good’s death, Walz saw an opportunity to take the spotlight off his own crimes by inciting radicals to resist federal agents, framing it as defending democracy and neighbors.
“He is calling for a civil war and making himself the white knight on the white horse, saying, ‘I’m just here to protect you’ … even though he’s the guy who enabled people to come into your house and steal all of your stuff,” scoffs Glenn. “He’s saying, ‘I’m here to protect you from the bad guys who are trying to put me in jail.”’
“He’s willing to have people killed. He is willing to see a civil war. For what reason? To keep him out of jail. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything this selfish in my life.”

‘The beginning of a civil war’: Glenn Beck sounds alarm on Walz, Frey challenging federal authority in Minneapolis ICE shooting fallout

On Wednesday, January 7, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 37-year-old U.S. citizen Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent during a large-scale federal immigration enforcement operation. Based on video footage from the incident, President Trump, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and many other officials have accused Good of deliberately obstructing ICE and weaponizing her vehicle in an attempt to ram and run over the agent who shot her.
The left, meanwhile, is foaming at the mouth, framing Good, whose vehicle struck an officer, requiring him to seek medical attention, as an innocent observer.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) have even gone as far as challenging federal forces. Most conservatives have had little reaction to their statements, as they’re on brand for the two radical leftists, but Glenn Beck says they should terrify everyone.
On this episode of “The Glenn Beck Program,” Glenn breaks down the dangerous implications of Frey’s and Walz’s statements.
In a press conference following the incident with Good, Frey said, “I have a message for ICE. To ICE, get the f**k out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite.”
Glenn is flabbergasted by the mayor’s words. “What else is going on in Minneapolis? … The biggest scandal of the state and possibly the biggest heist of taxpayer money in the history of our country is going on in [Minneapolis’] Somali community,” he says, predicting that both Frey and Walz will “go to jail” for their alleged complicity in it.
“So do they have any incentive at all to make the federal government into the bad guy? Absolutely,” Glenn continues, adding that Frey’s disdain for the federal government is akin to that of the “anarchists, communists, [and] people who are trying to actively overthrow our government by causing chaos in our streets.”
Walz’s statement was even more terrifying, however.
“We do not need any further help from the federal government. To Donald Trump and Kristi Noem, you’ve done enough. … I have issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard. We have soldiers in training and prepared to be deployed if necessary. I remind you, a warning order is a heads-up for folks,” he said.
“There is no other way to read this other than: ‘I am training our National Guard to stand up against our federal government,’” Glenn translates.
As outlined in the Constitution, a governor, Glenn explains, “cannot block the Department of Justice in any criminal investigation,” “the Department of Homeland Security enforcement action,” or “Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportations carried out under federal statute.”
“Federal authority in these areas come directly from what’s called the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution. It means the federal law is supreme over what the governor says and what the state law is,” he explains.
“State consent for federal law enforcement is not required, so when a governor says, ‘We don’t need any further help from the federal government’ … there’s nothing legal in that — nothing.”
It is legal, however, for a governor to “refuse cooperation,” “withdraw all state resources,” and even “instruct state agencies, ‘you’re not to participate.”’ But “the moment the governor crosses this line from non-cooperation to interference, they’ve just violated the Constitution and put us on the edge of a constitutional crisis or civil war,” says Glenn.
Walz threatening to deploy the military against federal operations in the state is “the brightest red line,” he says.
“Once the governor said that, everything has to change.”
One option, although it’s Glenn’s least favorite, is Trump federalizes the Minnesota National Guard.
The other option is for Walz to face “obstruction consequences,” says Glenn. “Federal injunctions, contempt of court, criminal exposure for obstruction — this all has precedent, and it should be considered.”
Glenn is certain that Walz is not actually threatening to deploy the National Guard against federal officers — as that would land him in jail, which he’s already trying to avoid in light of the state’s egregious Somali fraud schemes.
“He is calling up the Democratic national guard. … He is calling on people like Renee Nicole Good. He is trying to get people who are so zombie-like on the Democratic side to go up and put their bodies in and to obstruct. He’s using them as soldiers,” Glenn lays bare.
What Walz said is “not just unconstitutional on the National Guard side. That is just morally reprehensible.”

Journalist who exposed Minnesota day-care fraud says investigate THESE people now

Nick Shirley, a 23-year-old conservative YouTuber and independent journalist, gained national attention in late December 2025 after posting a viral 43-minute video titled, “I Investigated Minnesota’s Billion Dollar Fraud Scandal,” in which he visited several Minneapolis childcare centers — primarily Somali-run — and claimed they were empty or inactive despite receiving millions in federal and state government funding.
Shirley’s footage showed locked doors, blacked out windows, and no visible children during his visits despite public payment records, sparking national scrutiny, federal investigations by the FBI and DHS, a temporary freeze on childcare funding to Minnesota (and briefly nationwide), and political fallout — most notably Gov. Tim Walz (D) dropping his re-election bid.
On yesterday’s episode of “The Glenn Beck Program,” Shirley told Glenn that the Minnesota day-care fraud he exposed doesn’t even scratch the surface. If we want to see how deep the corruption really goes, there are several people who absolutely must be investigated.
Shirley’s first thought when he uncovered that massive fraud scheme was, “If millions — quite literally billions — of dollars is being given to these day-care centers, how come the government doesn’t know that the money is being spent here?”
More digging revealed the answer: “They’re all in on it,” he says.
“They just announced today the U.N. ambassador of Somalia is involved in all of this,” adds Glenn.
But he’s certainly not the only one with blood on his hands.
Tim Walz’s exit is almost certainly an evasion of deeper scrutiny or accountability for the fraud scandals. Glenn and Shirley agree that he must be investigated regardless.
But a Walz probe is just the beginning. “Everyone involved over at the capital in Minnesota and the DHS who was cutting the checks [needs to be investigated],” says Shirley.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who’s known for her advocacy for childcare funding, tops his list of people who need to be immediately investigated. “She has photos of her outside of ‘Quality Learing Center,”’ he says.
This center, which has repeatedly been mocked for missing the “n” in what is supposed to say “Learning,” was one of the main day-care centers featured in Shirley’s exposé. Extensive video footage shows a nearly empty parking lot, locked doors, and no visible activity despite the center receiving millions in funding and being licensed for dozens of kids.
Another person who needs to be investigated, says Shirley, is Omar Fateh, the Somali-American Democratic Socialist and Minnesota state senator who snagged a shady DFL endorsement in Minneapolis’ mayoral race through a rigged convention, only to have it stripped over vote irregularities.
“[Fateh] had a brother-in-law or some family member who was in charge of one of the day cares that had also been receiving $2 million, and they actually had so many violations they shut down the day care; then the next day they reopened,” says Shirley. “That guy was about to become mayor.”
“And so all these people are in on the fraud. They all know it’s happening,” he reiterates.
“Well, somebody clearly had to. You can’t have that much money rolling around. A lot of people knew,” Glenn agrees.
