Glenn Beck: NYT op-ed accidentally exposes the government’s theft

Buried in a recent New York Times op-ed on the government shutdown by Ezra Klein is a quiet confession by the elites — but not so quiet that Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck couldn’t hear it.
In the article, Klein argues that Republicans are incapable of accepting the reality that Obamacare health care subsidies are “working” — despite health care prices being through the roof.
“Why were the Democrats fighting so hard to neutralize their best issue in 2026?” Klein wrote in his op-ed. “The political logic of this shutdown fight was inverted. If Democrats got the tax credits extended, if they won, they’d be solving a huge electoral problem for the Republicans. If Republicans successfully allowed the tax credits to expire, if they won, they’d be handing the Democrats a cudgel, which would beat them in the next elections.”
“This is unbelievable. I mean, they’re saying it out loud,” Glenn comments. “You know what I mean?”
The article goes on to ask why Republicans “can’t accept reality” and that “health care subsidies are working.”
“No, they are not. They are propping, OK? They’re scaffolding, holding up a structure that was never sound. They were a COVID-era brace jammed under a tottering wall. And now the same architects who swore the house was, you know, the house was safe, they’re telling you now the splintered wood is actually part of the design,” Glenn says.
“This is the power the mainstream media has. The press still has over millions of Americans. It’s kind of like a hypnotic chokehold. You say the word subsidy enough times with the right sad piano music under it and suddenly forget what subsidies are,” he continues.
A subsidy, Glenn explains, is “money borrowed from the Chinese from the future to hide the failures of the present on decisions that were made in the past.”
“And now we’re told if we don’t just keep borrowing forever, America will collapse,” he says. “No, what collapses is this crazy illusion. Let’s be clear about something the op-ed never will admit. The Affordable Care Act didn’t fail because of Republicans. It failed because math is a stubborn thing.”
“You know, I’ve said this for months now. The greatest political opportunity of our lifetime now is health care reform. Real, actual reform,” he continues, adding, “Not another Washington quick fix. No more subsidies or anything else. Not a Band-Aid over a bullet wound.”

ESPN fatigue: Stephen A. Smith pushes vaccines, racial drama, and no real journalism

ESPN is in trouble, and BlazeTV host Jason Whitlock isn’t surprised — especially considering that one of its “stars,” Stephen A. Smith, has been pushing woke nonsense on listeners since the tiresome events of 2020.
In one clip that Whitlock plays from 2022, Smith addresses an incident involving a Duke volleyball player, Rachel Richardson, who claimed that she heard racial slurs in a game against BYU.
“I’m saying, BYU, you did it by allowing this to happen and not addressing it expeditiously, not addressing it with the level of quickness and speed that you should have addressed it with. So now, instead of looking at that fool, that racist bastard that was spewing that nonsense towards Miss Rachel Richardson,” Smith yelled on ESPN’s “First Take.”
“This is why I have fatigue,” Whitlock comments, annoyed. “And y’all remember this. This is about some BYU student that allegedly called some black girl the N-word or something at a volleyball game. It made no sense. There was no proof of it.”
“And Stephen A. Smith’s on TV yelling and screaming and wagging a finger at some white kid that he doesn’t know who he is. There’s no proof that it happened. There never was any proof that it happened. He made a fool of himself and ESPN, and they allowed it to happen. This is supposed to be some media corporation that should have some understanding of the basic tenets of journalism. And they’ve platformed Stephen A. Smith as if he’s the face of sports journalism,” he adds.
But Smith’s BYU outburst is far from the worst of it.
“The virus has been especially brutal to my community, with data showing black Americans being far more likely to get infected, get hospitalized, and, yes, even die from COVID-19. And now the data shows black Americans are not getting the vaccine, at least not at the same rate as other communities,” Smith preached on ESPN.
“Just in Philadelphia, where Rite Aid pharmacies are distributing the vaccine, 87% of vaccinations so far have gone to white folks, reportedly,” he added.
“‘You gotta take this poison, y’all,’” Whitlock mocks. “‘Black people, my community. Now, yes, I lived in a gated community filled with white people, but when I say my community, I’m talking about you black people.’”
“‘You got to take this experimental vaccine and kill yourself. … My IQ is probably in the low 80s, but I’m a doctor and can tell you what vaccines you should take,’” he continues.
“This is insanity,” Whitlock says, adding, “And you wonder why people have fatigue.”

Christian soccer player slammed as ‘transphobic’ for defending women’s sports

When Christian soccer player Elizabeth Eddy wrote that only women should play in the National Women’s Soccer League, her teammates called her transphobic and racist — but all she did was explain that men and women are different.
The professional soccer player for Angel City FC had her op-ed published in the New York Post, where she wrote, “I’m concerned that without clarity about who the league is for, it will lose its identity and its momentum.”
Eddy proposed specific testing methods to verify players’ eligibility, asking the NWSL to adopt a clear standard, using the example that perhaps all players should be born with ovaries as a requirement.
Another option she pointed out was SRY gene tests, which are used in boxing to determine eligibility to compete among women.
The player also cited stats from the NIH, which show measurable differences between men and women when it comes to muscle mass, bone density, and cardiovascular capacity, which directly affect competitive outcomes.
“It’s so stupid that we even have to say this,” BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey comments on “Relatable.”
“The production of testosterone is what makes the difference, not only in puberty but also in utero. So their bone density, their muscle mass, their aerobic and anaerobic capacity. Even if they go on cross-sex hormones, it is insurmountable. A woman just cannot overcome that,” Stuckey says.
“And so, she is speaking the scientific truth about this in an op-ed. Like, she didn’t even bring up any ideological argument. She brought up a scientific argument. She is a Christian. Christians are very clear on this,” she continues.
Despite her scientific argument, her teammates still went public to make sure everyone knew they vehemently disagreed.
“I really want to start off by saying that that article does not speak for this team in this locker room. I’ve had a lot of convos with my teammates in the past few days, and they are hurt, and they are harmed by the article. And also, they are disgusted by some of the things that were said in the article,” one teammate said during a press conference.
“It’s really important for me to say that. And we don’t agree with the things written for a plethora of reasons, but mostly the undertones come across as transphobic and racist as well,” she continued, pointing out that the article calls for genetic testing and has a photo of an African player featured by the headline.
“That’s very harmful, and to me it’s inherently racist because to single out this community based on them looking or being different is absolutely a problem,” she added.
Stuckey is disturbed by the teammate’s reaction, saying, “I just cannot. Racist because they dared use a picture of a black woman.”
“This sister in Christ stood up for what is good, right, and true, and protection of women and girls, and she is getting blasted for it in the comments. She’s getting blasted from her own teammates. She’s being called things that are just not true,” Stuckey says.
“They are maligning her character because she spoke to what is biologically a fact,” she adds.

Glenn Beck warns: Government reliance is a ‘poisoned promise’

The government shutdown may be ending, but it revealed something very important about Americans as a whole — too many rely on the government to survive.
And that is a very dangerous situation to be in.
“Whenever a society gets into this situation, history will show us a poisoned promise begins,” Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck explains.
“The socialists always arrive making all kinds of poison promises,” he says. “And there is a pattern, and it is so ancient it could be scripture. … Every socialist experiment starts with the same smooth-tongue promise: ‘We are going to make life fair.’”
“Unfortunately for socialists, you know, history keeps impeccable books. The receipts are really, really damning. Fortunately for socialists, nobody ever reads history,” he continues.
These receipts that Glenn pulls out are in the form of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, Fidel Castro in Cuba, and Adolf Hitler in Germany.
“This story of socialism is written in blood in ledger books all over the world,” Glenn says. “And it always starts with the promise of equity or equality. And it always leads to the rise of an elite who decides what equality means. And every time it fails, they say, ‘Well, that was just put in the hands of the wrong people.’”
“No, the key word here is not ‘wrong,’ it’s ‘people.’ People. The workers never get the factories. The peasants never receive the land. The poor never get any of the wealth. And it’s this story over and over and over again,” he continues.
“Socialism begins with a promise but always ends with a ruling class armed with absolute power,” he says, adding, “Only the names change.”

The SECRET every young man NEEDS to hear

Young men are inheriting a spiritually starving society, where they’re being sold a future of cheap pleasures, hollow heroes, and never-ending screen time.
It’s a lot of noise, and it will rob the youth of all purpose.
But Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck has some advice.
“If there is anything virtuous, lovely, of good report, or praiseworthy, seek those things. Don’t admire them. Don’t nod at them. Seek them. Hunt them. Chase them. Build your life around those things,” Glenn explains.
“A man who will do that, a boy, a young man who will do that, will become different, noticeably different. He will stop letting the culture feed him garbage. He stops applauding the trivial. He stops laughing at the obscene or cheering for the cruel. He will become a curator of real, lasting beauty in an age that has forgotten what beauty even looks like.”
“When other men are chasing down or holding up cynicism, this man holds up hope. When everyone around him is chasing dopamine, he chooses discipline. When others will blame their circumstance, he’ll take responsibility for his own action. When the world worships the shallow, he goes and searches for the deep.”
“You become what you seek. If you seek trash, you become trash. You seek virtue, you become a man of virtue. You seek excellence, and your life will begin to shine, not loudly, but steadily like the steel glow of a blade being forged.”
The world, Glenn says, already has a never-ending supply of “angry,” “addicted,” and “distracted” boys.
What it needs now, he explains, are men.
“Whole men. Clear-eyed men. Men whose souls are anchored to something higher than the algorithms trying to own them,” he says. “Build a life worthy of admiration. Forget about the applause. Fill your mind with words that make you wiser.”

Media LIES, claims ICE raided day care after illegal immigrant arrest

The mainstream media has yet again been caught in a lie about an illegal immigrant, this time by falsely accusing ICE of targeting a day care and traumatizing children.
“Parents want answers after feds arrest day care teacher — ‘It has destroyed us,’ one headline from the Chicago Sun-Times reads. Another reads, “Chicago mayor condemns ICE arrest of daycare teacher in front of children: ‘shocked the conscience.’”
“Was that dramatic enough?” BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales asks. “I mean, that sounds really, really dramatic. That sounds terrible,” she continues, before playing a clip of the arrest — which showed the day care teacher resisting while being led outside of the day care and then calming down.
“It turns out,” Gonzales explains, “this woman — not such a good person. … An illegal alien from Colombia, Diana Patricia Santillana Galeano.”
“So, she was here because the Biden administration released her into the United States. And last month, apparently, she reportedly paid for human smugglers to illegally bring her 17-year-old and 16-year-old children into the United States via the southern border,” she continues.
“Not sure if she knew this before — certainly she knows it now — that facilitating human smuggling is actually a crime. It’s not a good thing to enrich the coyotes’ pockets to bring a 16- and 17-year-old on a dangerous journey where there are lots of rapes and crimes that occur along the way,” she adds.
However, while the mainstream media has claimed that ICE targeted the day care specifically to drag the illegal immigrant out, the Department of Homeland Security is telling a much different story.
“ICE law enforcement did NOT target a day care. Officers attempted to conduct a targeted traffic stop of this female illegal alien from Colombia. Officers attempted to pull over this vehicle, which was registered to a female illegal alien, with sirens and emergency lights, but the male driver refused to pull the vehicle over,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement.
“Law enforcement pursued the vehicle before the assailant sped into a shopping plaza where he and the female passenger fled the vehicle. They ran into a day care and attempted to barricade themselves inside the day care — recklessly endangering the children inside. The illegal alien female was arrested inside a vestibule, not in the school,” she added.
“I personally think that that ire could just be turned onto the illegal and her cohort, who decided to run into the day care to seek refuge when they weren’t already there. They were completely endangering children, bringing all of these children into this situation that they didn’t have to,” Gonzales comments.
“If you want to be mad at someone for that situation,” she continues, “maybe be mad at the illegal who put the day care in that situation in the first place. But that would require critical thinking. The Democrats don’t have that. The mainstream media certainly doesn’t have that.”
“The American people are just done with this,” she adds.

Muscular Christianity: Debunking the manosphere’s lies

When women are told that the biggest issue they face is their self-esteem — not their sin — it doesn’t bring them closer to God or make them more likely to walk through the church doors on Sunday.
Instead, it leaves them feeling like they can find that kind of advice anywhere.
“Why would you go to church and sacrifice your free time if you’re going to hear the same message anywhere?” BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey asks ex-Green Beret and Virginia delegate Nick Freitas, noting that they’re simply being told what “they want to hear.”
And women aren’t the only ones being fooled.
“Do you feel like that also might be happening among the Andrew Tate acolytes of the world who say, ‘Okay, in order to attract these young men, we have to not be like Jesus was. We have to be crass, and we have to be rude, and we have to be arrogant, and we have to be materialistic, and we have to be promiscuous, and we have to talk about women like they’re objects ’cause that’s real masculinity’?” she asks.
Freitas agrees, calling the approach symbolic of the “manosphere.”
“So, I think there’s two things that we have to recognize whenever we talk about what we might call the manosphere — Andrew Tate, Justin Waller, some of these other guys, Fresh and Fit. … The first thing that we need to recognize is the reason why they resonated so much with young men was not simply because all these guys have admirable accomplishments in their own right,” he explains.
“But they tend to be strong. They tend to be wealthy, and they tend to, you know, women tend to be attracted to them, right? So, these are all things that, if you’re a young man without a spiritual basis in your life, you’re looking at these things going, ‘I want that,’” he continues.
“The most important component, though, is a lot of young men felt like those guys were sticking up for them when nobody else would,” he says, noting that “men associate loyalty with love.”
“And so, a lot of young men look at guys like Andrew Tate, and they say, ‘That guy had my back when none of you people in the church were mentioning any of this. And now the first time you want to come up and talk about the problems with masculinity, you want to bash Andrew Tate, the one guy that had my back,’” he explains.
“And so, the way I think we need to approach something like that is certainly not by excusing what I believe is disastrous, sinful, and ultimately not genuinely masculine behavior, but I think we need to recognize the source of the problem and from whence it comes,” he adds.
Freitas also explains that the “masculinity” that the manosphere pushes is “hedonistic masculinity,” which says that “you should dominate for the sake of your own pleasure.”
“Essentially, your will to power is the highest moral standard that you can appeal to. That is not in line with Christianity at all,” he says, adding that in order to be in line with Christianity it would have to be “sacrificial in nature.”
“The thing that I would tell young men is, I can appreciate that Andrew Tate is fit, right? I can appreciate that the man can fight. … But if you really want something that’s going to give you ultimate meaning and purpose, … you get that when you recognize that there is a God,” he explains.
“He has a meaning and purpose for your life,” he continues, adding, “and he requires you to be strong because it is a difficult world.”

Sara Gonzales EXPOSED Texas all-ages drag shows — and now they’re against the law

Vice President of Texas Family Project and BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales helped craft a law years ago that is finally being upheld in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals — and it’s a really, really good one.
The law prevents drag queens and all adults from performing sexually in front of children.
“As I said, it has been tied up in the courts for years and we have been waiting for this moment. It is upheld. In the state of Texas, you cannot dance provocatively and sexually in front of young children,” Gonzales beams.
“Obviously, we worked very hard to expose these all-ages shows that were happening in the state of Texas. Those exposés, those videos, were instrumental in the fight to prevent this from happening. I worked directly with legislators to craft the language of this bill. So this is very, very personal for me,” she continues.
“And a lot of the things that we were talking about, I told them, ‘You would not believe me if I didn’t go to brunch and take video. So I’m going to do it and then I’m going to show you. And when you see it, you’re not going to be able to unsee it, and you’re going to have to pass a law about it.’ And that is what they did,” she adds.
Drag queens, or “pedophiles,” which Gonzales calls “kind of the same thing,” fought the law in the Texas courts for years.
“Here in Texas, where everyone thinks, ‘Oh, it’s so super red.’ No, actually, they had these all-ages events all over the place in Texas,” she says.
In one clip from an all-ages event, Gonzales asks a woman if she finds the show “age appropriate” for her children.
“Yeah … I’m not as conservative, but I mean, really it’s not any different than I mean Disney, and Disney, they have similar things, like it’s really not that far from it,” the woman replied.
The drag queens at this particular show were parading around with fake breasts and nipples out, sniffing and playing with their fake breasts, and asking the audience if they were “reaching for” her “titties.”
In another horrifying scene, two men were humping each other and simulating sex.
When Gonzales brought this up to another mother whose 12-year-old daughter was in attendance, the mother replied, “She goes to school. She sees simulated sex all the time.”
“Ma’am, what school are you taking your 12-year-old daughter to? I don’t think that’s in the curriculum. … It’s not appropriate for children,” Gonzales says, disgusted.
At a different all-ages event, older women were handing a child money to give to the dominatrix drag queens, before the drag queens gave away “unisex” sex toys for “all genders.”
“Isn’t that just the wholesome content that you think children should be exposed to?” Gonzales mocks.
But now it’s all over for the all-ages drag queen events.
“A lot of groomers when this bill was passed before it got tied up in the courts, they were like, ‘You know what? We’re just going to leave. We’re going to leave the state of Texas. We’re not even going to live here anymore,’” Gonzales recalls.
“You know what? Go. Please leave,” she adds.

Antifreeze ice cream and pesticide tea: Why it’s time to ditch processed foods

If you read the label on your favorite “healthy” food, the chances are high that you’re going to be extremely disappointed — and maybe even inspired to make a massive change.
And that’s exactly what happened when Christian homesteader Michelle Visser took a harder look at what she was putting in her body.
“I had been a junk food junkie my whole life, and I had been eating processed food my whole life,” Visser tells BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey.
“I started looking at the ingredients of the processed food, and I started realizing, well, instead of using this little pack of taco seasoning, I could make my own taco seasoning. And instead of buying this ice cream that has antifreeze as one of its ingredients, I could make my own ice cream,” Visser explains.
“What differences did you see in your own body and in the health of your family when you started making those changes?” Stuckey asks.
“So much more energy and just zest for life and a really good feeling about food that I had never had before,” she responds, telling Stuckey that the difference between opening up a cardboard box and making your own food from scratch is staggering.
“It just doesn’t give you the satisfaction and the creativity that real food can give you,” she says. “So I started feeling much better in that way. Just more energy, sleeping better, just really good overall.”
Stuckey points out that in many cases, removing processed foods from diets does alleviate a lot of chronic symptoms people may have had.
“It’s not just one quick fix, but you know, a lot of the things that people in America struggle with today, when it comes to our gut, when it comes to our skin, a lot of the things that start with our digestion, they can be alleviated, or helped a lot, by what we do in the kitchen,” Stuckey says.
And Visser has some shocking news for those who believe they’re being healthy by drinking tea every night.
“It turns out it’s one of the most heavily unregulated, yet heavily sprayed with pesticide food or drink that you can eat,” she tells Stuckey, explaining that even when the tea is “organic,” it may come in a toxic bleached bag.
“So maybe loose leaf tea is the way to go,” Stuckey says.
“That’s what I recommend,” Visser agrees.

Van Jones sounds alarm over Mamdani’s fiery victory speech

New NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s celebratory speech raised alarm bells not just for Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck and BlazeTV host Stu Burguiere, but shockingly for liberals like Van Jones of CNN as well.
“I think the Mamdani that we saw on the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech,” Jones said on CNN.
“And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? Is he going to include me? Or is he going to be more of a class warrior even in office?” Jones continued.
“I think he missed a chance tonight to open up and bring more people into the tent. I think his tone was sharp. I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling. … I felt like there’s a little bit of a character switch here, where the warm, open, embracing guy that’s close to working people was not on stage tonight, and there was some other voice on stage,” he added.
“Huh, it’s almost like a mask has come off,” Glenn comments, unsurprised, before playing clips of Mamdani’s mask-off speech.
“So, Donald Trump, since I know you’re watching, I have four words for you: Turn the volume up,” Mamdani yelled at the cheering crowd.
“We will hold bad landlords to account, because the Donald Trumps of our city have grown far too comfortable taking advantage of their tenants. We will put an end to the culture of corruption that has allowed billionaires like Trump to evade taxation and exploit tax breaks,” he continued.
“We will stand alongside unions and expand labor protections because we know, just as Donald Trump does, that when working people have ironclad rights, the bosses who seek to extort them become very small indeed. New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants, and, as of tonight, led by an immigrant,” he added.
“A very angry immigrant whose own mother says he doesn’t identify as an American,” Glenn comments, before playing more of Mamdani’s speech.
“As has so often occurred, the billionaire class has sought to convince those making $30 an hour that their enemies are those earning $20 an hour. They want the people to fight amongst ourselves so that we remain distracted from the work of remaking a long-broken system. We refuse to let them dictate the rules of the game anymore. They can play by the same rules as the rest of us,” he continued, still yelling.
“And if we embrace this brave new course rather than fleeing from it, we can respond to oligarchy and authoritarianism with the strength it fears, not the appeasement it craves. After all, if anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it’s the city that gave rise to him. If there is any way to terrify a despot, it is by dismantling the very conditions that allowed him to accumulate power,” he added.
Glenn points out that capitalism is what allowed Trump to accumulate power, which means that Mamdani is saying they must dismantle capitalism.
“What he’s saying here is we have to now dismantle that system of capitalism because that’s what gave him power,” Glenn says.
“It’s going to be interesting to watch New York City over the next four years. Very, very interesting,” he adds.
