Top 5 funniest Trump moments of 2025

President Donald Trump has secured a spot as one of the most iconic figures in American history. While many of his significant political actions are certain to be remembered, so will the countless clips and memes throughout his time in office.
Here are the five funniest Trump moments of his second presidency so far.
5. Making plastic straws great again
In the early weeks of his second term, Trump signed the “number one trending” executive order ending the “forced use” of paper straws across the country.
During the signing, Trump quipped about the ineffectiveness of paper straws, noting they “explode” in drinks, rendering them useless and often frustrating to drink from.
“We’re going back to plastic straws,” Trump said. “These things don’t work. … On occasion they break, they explode. If something’s hot, they don’t last very long. Like, a matter of minutes, sometimes a matter of seconds. It’s a ridiculous situation. So, we’re going back to plastic straws. I think it’s OK.”
“I don’t think that plastic is going to affect a shark very much as they’re munching their way through the ocean,” Trump added.
4. “Everything’s computer!”
Trump shared a unique friendship with serial entrepreneur Elon Musk, whose many business ventures include Tesla. These electric cars that were once one of the most iconic and prevalent vehicles in Silicon Valley quickly became associated with Musk and Trump’s political alliance.
In support of Musk, Trump had several Tesla models shown at the White House, where he candidly reviewed a Tesla vehicle himself.
“Oh wow, it’s beautiful!” Trump said as he stepped into the Tesla. “Wow. That’s beautiful. This is a different panel than I’ve — everything’s computer!”
3. Trick-or-treat
Trump recreated one of his most iconic moments during Halloween, when the White House hosts an annual trick-or-treat on the South Lawn, where the president and the first lady hand out candy to children.
In 2019, one of Trump’s funniest unscripted moments was when a child in an inflatable Minion costume came to the White House for candy. Trump, unsure of where to hand off the candy bar, made the executive decision to place it on the Minion’s head, producing one of the most meme-able moments of his first term.
Trump re-created this interaction in 2025 when a child dressed as Marshmello, a DJ who wears a marshmallow-shaped mask, came through the line. Just as he did in 2019, Trump opted to set the candy bar on the flat top of the marshmallow, sending the trick-or-treater on his way.
2. Autopen presidency
As Trump works to solidify his legacy after his second term, he has taken it upon himself to spruce up the White House grounds with a new ballroom, a paved patio in the Rose Garden, and touches of gold pretty much every place he can.
He has also made sure to commemorate those presidents who came before him.
One new feature at the White House is Trump’s hall of presidents, featuring an array of gold-framed presidential portraits alongside a walkway overlooking the Rose Garden. Trump cleverly added his own flair to the commemorative walkway, featuring a framed photo of the autopen between his 45th and 47th presidential portrait, memorializing former President Joe Biden’s autopen scandal.
1. The N-word
Trump has always had a flair for the dramatic, often echoing the showmanship of his reality TV days. Love him or hate him, he knows how to capture a crowd’s attention.
In one of his funniest and most underrated political speeches of 2025, Trump delivered an edgy punchline in an address to military brass in Quantico.
“It was really a stupid person that … mentioned the word ‘nuclear,'” Trump said during the address.
“I moved a submarine or two … over to the coast of Russia, just to be careful, because we can’t let people throw around that word,” he continued.
“I call it the N-word,” Trump added. “There are two N-words, and you can’t use either of them.”

The 5 best Christmas decorations in recent White House history

One of the White House’s longest and most anticipated traditions is the Christmas tree decorations unveiled every year by the first lady.
Although administrations had already been decorating the White House for Christmas for decades, back in 1961, then-first lady Jackie Kennedy became the first to decorate in accordance with a theme.
Since then, Americans across the country have been able to enjoy countless Christmas displays at the People’s House, no matter their party affiliation. No doubt, some decorations have been more controversial than others, but most have provided unique and festive insights into the personal taste of each first lady.
That said, here are the five best Christmas instillations in recent White House history.
5. 2011, Michelle Obama: ‘Shine, Give, Share’

First lady Michelle Obama’s 2011 Christmas display featured warm Christmas lights, garlands, and ornaments reminiscent of the best the 1980s had to offer.
Obama’s theme balanced familiarity and festivity, even featuring a decorative recreation of their dog, Bo.
But the real showstopper was a commemorative Christmas tree honoring the brave men and women of the military whose service allows millions of Americans across the country to enjoy the holiday peacefully at home.

On the tree hung framed medals awarded to America’s finest military members, with the blue star families fittingly being honored in the White House’s Blue Room. The tree was also adorned with handmade holiday cards written by children from military families.
4. 1983, Nancy Reagan: ‘Old-Fashioned Toys’

First lady Nancy Reagan’s Christmas decorations were unpretentious and relatable. The Christmas tree above features an eclectic mix of garlands, tinsel, and playful ornaments that suited the 1983 theme “Old-Fashioned Toys.”
The tree seemed to celebrate the excitement of Christmas as seen through the eyes of a child, anxiously waking up early to unwrap gifts after noticing that Santa finished his plate of cookies. The tree was not particularly glamorous or high fashion, but rather comforting and familiar. It felt like going home for the holidays.
To top it all off, Reagan’s display featured a surprise celebrity appearance.

While Reagan unveiled the Christmas decor, she also appeared alongside Mr. T dressed up as Santa Claus.
3. 1967, Lady Bird Johnson

First lady Claudia Alta “Lady Bird” Johnson integrated every nostalgic Christmas motif imaginable in her Christmas decorations.
The tree itself had garlands made of popcorn and cranberry, sugar-cookie ornaments and candy canes hung on branches, as well as classic silver bobbles and felt decorations. The tree looked as if it had been decorated entirely by ornaments and embellishments children made at school to proudly hang on the tree in their family living room.
Johnson’s decorations also included a beautiful 18th-century Italian Nativity scene complete with floating angels.

The Nativity scene was presented to the White House as a Christmas gift by an American philanthropist and art collector named Jane Engelhard, who also made major donations to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
2. 2006, Laura Bush: ‘Deck the Halls and Welcome All’

First lady Laura Bush included all of the classic elements that make Christmas festive, but she also added a unique, whimsical detail.
Bush’s trees featured faux snow caps on the branches that made them appear as though they had just been plucked out of a Christmas Claymation movie. The trees were also adorned with cascading silver tinsel and garlands, sparkling snowflakes, and glass ornaments tied with red bows.

Similar trees were found throughout the halls of the White House beside bold garlands of red and silver ornaments consistent with the tree’s color palette.
1. 2025, Melania Trump: ‘Home Is Where the Heart Is’

First lady Melania Trump’s taste in Christmas decorations has been consistently exquisite, and 2025 is no exception.
Most will remember Trump’s iconic display featuring a hallway of bold, red Christmas trees or stark, white branches from her husband’s first term. Although her decorations made a splash both of those years, 2025 is arguably her most stunning display yet.
Dozens of trees are illuminated by twinkling lights and floating candles with dashes of red and gold ribbon running between the branches. Matching red presents are laid at the base of the trees as well as countless wreaths on every window of the White House.

Trump also featured several playful elements throughout the White House, including a Lego portrait of President George Washington, President Donald Trump, and matching Lego bows on the wreaths above them.
In a touching tribute, one tree displayed in the Red Room is decorated with tens of thousands of blue butterflies to commemorate the hundreds of thousands of foster children across the country, one of her signature causes.

‘Low IQ traitor’: Trump torches MTG after she claims he ‘directly fueled’ death threats against her

President Donald Trump torched Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia on social media after her highly anticipated “60 Minutes” interview aired on Sunday.
For years, Greene was Trump’s biggest cheerleader in Congress, coming to bat for the president on nearly every political cause. Their unique alliance crumbled in November after Trump made a shocking move to withdraw his endorsement of Greene.
‘Her new views are those of a very dumb person.’
Greene maintained that the split was due to her demand for the unconditional release of the Epstein files, while other reports suggest she wanted to pursue higher office and Trump discouraged her from doing so, leaving the Georgia Republican jaded. Greene promptly announced that she was resigning from Congress and stepping down in January.
While Trump continues to harshly criticize his former ally, Greene has been making the rounds in various outlets with which she has been combative in the past. Her appearance on “60 Minutes” on CBS garnered even more backlash from Trump and his supporters.

During the interview with host Lesley Stahl, Greene remarked on the increase in death threats against her and her family, saying they were “directly fueled by President Trump.”
Trump said the real reason Greene and the MAGA movement parted ways was because she was “jilted.”
“Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple!” Trump wrote in a Monday Truth Social post. “Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person.”
Greene’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Blaze News.

Trump described Greene as “a very poorly prepared Traitor, who in her confusion made many really stupid statements” to Stahl.
Trump went on to criticize the new ownership of the “60 Minutes” program and to demand an apology from “Trump hating” Stahl for her contentious interview with him during his first term, just before the 2020 presidential election.
“Stahl … still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!), that Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!),” Trump wrote.
“My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor,” Trump continued, referring to Greene, “it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air.”

White House makes touching gesture to honor assassinated National Guard member, allegedly by CIA-linked Afghan

President Donald Trump’s administration is honoring fallen National Guard member Spc. Sarah Beckstrom in the wake of her horrific murder just yards away from the White House grounds.
The White House lowered all flags on the grounds to half-staff on Thursday after Beckstrom succumbed to her wounds on November 27, Thanksgiving Day. The suspect is a CIA-linked Afghan national who allegedly shot her and fellow guardsman Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe in Washington, D.C, the day prior.
Beckstrom was only 20 years old.
‘The Biden administration justified bringing the alleged shooter to the United States.’
The proclamation from Trump’s administration extended the honor to “all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, December 4, 2025.”
The flags will also be lowered at American embassies, legations, consular offices, and military facilities across the world.

Twenty-nine-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who was officially charged with Beckstrom’s murder, also allegedly ambushed 24-year-old Wolfe, who is miraculously expected to recover.
Lakanwal first came to the United States under President Joe Biden’s administration under the program Operation Allies Welcome following the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. Lakanwal was also a member of a CIA-backed military operation to hunt down Taliban commanders.

“In the wake of the disastrous Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Biden administration justified bringing the alleged shooter to the United States in September 2021 due to his prior work with the U.S. government, including CIA, as a member of a partner force in Kandahar, which ended shortly following the chaotic evacuation,” CIA Director John Ratcliffe said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Another far-left conspiracy theory busted.
5 hilarious political moments that make me thankful for Trump

President Donald Trump has spent the last decade producing some of America’s most iconic political moments. Some were divisive, some were historic, and many of them were hilarious.
Here are the top five Trump moments that make me thankful for his presidency.
5. Turn them OFF!
Trump had many memorable moments during his first presidential campaign, earning a reputation for being a totally candid and unapologetic candidate. Almost a decade ago at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, Trump put his personality and political talent on full display, turning a technical hiccup into a chant with countless rallygoers.
The stage lights abruptly went off in the middle of his campaign speech, prompting Trump to quip that the venue “didn’t pay the electric bill,” sending applause and laughter through the audience. To Trump’s dismay, the lights quickly blared back on, and he began to shout, “No! Get those lights off!”
“Turn them off! They’re too bright! Turn them OFF!”
Trump later encouraged audience members to join him in chanting, “Turn off the lights!”
“That’s the way we have to negotiate for our country,” he added.
4. From the standpoint of water
During Hurricane Florence in September 2018, Trump posted a video in which he thanked first responders and all those involved in mitigating the pain inflicted by the natural disaster. Although this would have been a routine exercise in any other administration, the orator in chief delivered one of his most iconic Trump lines that never fails to make people chuckle.
While Trump has several memorable one-liners, this one was uniquely pre-approved and posted to a personal social media account.
“I just want to thank all of the incredible men and women who have done such a great job in helping with Florence,” Trump said. “This is a tough hurricane.”
“One of the wettest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of water. Rarely have we had an experience like it, and it certainly is not good,” he added.
3. Trick or treat
Some of the most iconic Trump moments were entirely unscripted, and 2018 Halloween was no exception.
The White House was hosting the annual trick-or-treat festivities where the president and first lady Melania Trump hand out candy to kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes. One such trick-or-treater showed up in a Minion costume from the well-known “Despicable Me” films, which quickly proved to limit the child’s candy-collecting abilities.
The child’s costume seemingly obstructed his hands, but Trump didn’t want to deprive the Minion of his Halloween harvest. Instead, Trump opted to simply place the candy bar on top of the Minion’s head as onlookers erupted in laughter.
2. The N-word
Trump’s unprompted one-liners are usually the most controversial, but also the most entertaining. His speech to military brass at Quantico earlier this year was no exception, after Trump veered off script and produced one of the most viral moments so far in his second term.
Campaigning as the peace president and working around the clock to end conflicts around the globe, his play on words was both in line with the administration’s agenda and with Trump’s comedic instincts.
1. ‘Because you’d be in jail’
One of Trump’s most iconic political feuds was with none other than failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The two sparred on a number of issues and exchanged many notable insults at each other, but few are as memorable as the October 9, 2016, presidential debate.
This mic drop speaks for itself.
“Last time, at the first debate, we had millions of people fact-checking, so I expect we’ll have millions more fact-checking because, you know, it’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” Clinton said.
Trump picked up the mic and simply said, “Because you’d be in jail.”
