The correspondent, Sharyn Alfonsi, was behind an embarrassing 2021 flub at 60 Minutes in which she falsely reported that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R., Fla.) gave preferential treatment to a campaign donor to distribute coronavirus vaccines.
