Brian May unveils never-heard Queen song cut from 1974 album

LONDON – Queen guitarist Brian May unveiled on Monday a previously unreleased song by the legendary rock band that “no one has ever heard”. The track – formally called “Not for Sale (Polar Bear)” – was originally recorded for Queen”s 1974 album “Queen II” but failed to make the final cut. Aired for the first time at the end of an hour-long Christmas radio special hosted by May, it features what sound like late frontman Freddie Mercury”s trademark vocals.
Trump pulls 30 envoys in ‘America First” push, critics say it weakens US leadership
WASHINGTON – The Trump administration is recalling nearly 30 ambassadors and other senior career diplomats to ensure embassies reflect its “America First” priorities, a move critics said would weaken U.S. leadership in the world. The State Department declined to provide a list of the diplomats being recalled. A senior department official said on Monday the move was “a standard process in any administration” but critics said that wasn”t so.
NAPOLCOM warns, urges public to report fake socmed pages

The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) on Monday warned the public to be on the lookout for fake Facebook pages and social media accounts that impersonate the NAPOLCOM and engage in illegal, unsanctioned transactions. In a statement, NAPOLCOM vice chairperson and executive officer Rafael Vicente Calinisan stressed that the agency maintains only one official Facebook page, as he urged the public to report suspicious accounts to the NAPOLCOM.
US freezes five big offshore wind projects, shares dive
The Trump administration suspended leases on Monday for five large offshore wind projects that are under construction off the U.S. East Coast over what it called national security concerns, sending shares of offshore wind companies plunging. The suspension was the latest blow for offshore wind developers that have faced repeated disruptions to their multi-billion-dollar projects under U.S. President Donald Trump, who has said he finds wind turbines ugly, costly and inefficient. State officials, offshore wind companies, and industry trade groups slammed the move as unjustified.
DOTR to finish 16k housing units for families affected by North-South railway by Q4 2026

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Monday assured that it is expediting the completion of 16,575 housing units for families affected by the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) System by the end of 2026.
PITX logs 180k passengers bound for provinces ahead of Christmas

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) has recorded over 180,000 passengers traveling to their respective home provinces for the Christmas holidays as on Monday night. According to Katrina Son”s report on “State of the Nation” on Monday, bus rides at the PITX are not yet fully booked although more travelers are expected to flock to the transport hub in the coming days.
