Wall Street gains, oil drops on hopes for renewed US-Iran talks
Wall Street stock indexes extended gains, oil prices dropped and the dollar’s safe-haven appeal waned on Tuesday as the United States signalled new peace talks with Iran could be imminent even as a blockade on Iran’s ports remained in place.
