Four officers wounded in Kansas shooting; suspect dead
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is investigating after multiple law enforcement officers were shot Saturday during a domestic violence incident in Osage County.
KBI officials said the shooting happened at about 10:30 a.m. at a home north of Carbondale.
Deputies and troopers were at the home for several minutes before gunfire erupted, according to the KBI.

Three Osage County sheriff’s deputies and one Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) trooper were wounded, officials said.
The male suspect was killed at the home, and another man was injured but remains in stable condition.
Col. Erik Smith said during a news conference Saturday the three deputies and trooper were taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, but the trooper was later transferred to a hospital in Kansas City for further treatment.

The identity of the man killed during the shooting has not yet been released.
There is no active threat to the public, according to authorities.
The Topeka Police Department (TPD) confirmed on social media it sent officers to assist, and none of its officers were injured.
The TPD and KHP referred Fox News Digital inquiries to the KBI, which did not immediately respond to additional inquiries.
